Email newsletters were always something I knew I needed, but how to optimize them seemed an overwhelming task. I did the bare minimum for years, sending out an email whenever a new I Breathe I'm Hungry blog post went up, but that was pretty much it. I knew there was more to it based on what I saw others doing, but with everything else I needed to stay on top of to keep my blog running, I never got around to it.
