I've never experienced such a massive chasm between the reviews I've been reading in the press and the reality of the show I went to see. @ELVISEVOLUTION is a truly magnificent effort to introduce a whole new generation to the man who immortalised Rock 'n Roll. Yes, there are a few gremlins in this brand new show. Some of the new staff may not be quite up to speed, but having experienced other Layered Reality events such as 'War of the Worlds' and 'Gunpowder Plot', I know this team will get everything right. The actual show is so interesting with everything tracing back to the real history of Elvis Aaron Presly through his evolution from impoverished country boy through early jobs, emergence as a teen rock star, army service, Hollywood film star to re-emergence as the preeminent Las Vegas showman. To portray all this without reverting to tricks and gimmicks is a major success. Those more interested in seeing cutting edge electronic wizardry should go to the science museums. Give me Elvis Evolution and Rock 'n Roll any day.

I was apprehensive about going after reading bad reviews. We arrived first thing I noticed was a sign that said staff have put theur heart and soul into performing so no abuse please!
We sat in the diner in a booth was asked to move because it was for VIP's. We were called in first room there were props there then actors came on I thought what the hell is going on.
We then sat on a train with a few effects but it was so boring.
We then went to the Blue Hawaii bar had a photo with an Elvis cut out.
The Comeback Concert was my fav bit a band came on Elvis on the screen but it wasnt very clear.
The After party was hmm the singer wasn't great couldn't hear her voice.
No way was this worth £75 seen better Elvis shows at my local theatre. Felt sorry for people who paid £300! It was a real rip off and Layered reality should be ashamed.

ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL SHOW
We were promised, at the time of booking, "a jaw dropping concert experience" with a life sized digital Presley using AI, holographic projection, augmented reality, live theatre and multi-sensory effects (as quoted by Layered Reality). See all links below and adverts attached!
We had read many negative reviews before attending, but we decided to keep an open mind and experience it for ourselves, thinking it couldn’t possibly be as bad as described. Unfortunately, it was. What we witnessed was a substandard, poorly produced show that focused more on a childhood friend of Elvis—someone most people have never heard of—than on Elvis himself. The writing and direction were amateurish, the acting was weak, and there was NO HOLOGRAM. Simply blowing wind in the audience’s faces and placing cardboard cut-outs of Elvis does not qualify as an immersive experience. Even the footage shown was recycled from various films that any Elvis fan would have already seen countless times, rather than the unique and unseen material we had been led to expect.

One star is generous
One star is generous ! I feel it’s important to share mine, as I made a seven-hour round trip to attend with great anticipation, being a lifelong Elvis fan who has visited Beale Street, Sun Studios, and Memphis on multiple occasions.
Unfortunately, the experience fell very far short of what was promised and of what I (and I believe most Elvis fans) would expect. The event was marketed as a hologram and immersive experience, but in reality, there was little immersive about it, and nothing that resembled holographic technology.
• Part One – Walkthrough: The initial walkthrough of staged “rooms” was disjointed and lacked authenticity. It didn’t feel like an insight into Elvis’s life but more like a loosely put-together exhibition.
• Part Two – The Train: This was described as immersive, but apart from a small breeze across our legs, there was no sense of immersion. Instead, four amateur-level actors repeatedly changed costumes while a poor-quality video played in the background.
• Blue Hawaiian Bar: Again, this felt underwhelming and disconnected from Elvis himself. It seemed more like a themed bar than a meaningful part of the story.
• The “Live Performance”: This section was particularly disappointing. Three “band members” mimed poorly, with one literally hitting a guitar case with drumsticks. Meanwhile, pre-recorded Elvis tracks and video clips played, which only highlighted the lack of authenticity.
• The Conclusion: Being crammed into a small room to watch yet another video announcing his death felt anticlimactic and, frankly, lazy.
• After Party: This was marketed as a live celebration of Elvis. Instead, it was a singer (female and heavily pregnant ,who struggled to reach the notes) and a DJ playing Elvis tracks. Ironically, the highlight of the evening was an audience member who asked to sing — and delivered a performance that genuinely engaged everyone. That alone says everything.
As someone who has a deep respect and admiration for Elvis Presley’s legacy, I found the show a complete misrepresentation of his life and music. It did not capture his story, his artistry, or his impact on culture. What was presented felt amateurish, poorly researched, and far removed from the immersive holographic celebration it was advertised as.
I regret to say that I cannot recommend this experience in its current form. It was a huge disappointment after the effort and cost of travelling to attend, and I feel Elvis deserved far better.
I hope you take this feedback seriously, because with the right creative direction and respect for Elvis’s true story, you could create something worthy. At present, sadly, this is not it. It’s far from the truth and if you have to make jokes about Elvia cologne and. Selling it Smellvis it really shows the poor taste . Plus I was approached on 3 occasions asking to speak with me as it was frowned upon if you showed any signs of being un happy . People were being asked to leave if complaining . £300 we spent each and to be frank we have had better evenings listening to you tube

Myself and wife went yesterday…
Myself and wife went yesterday 17/8/25,I must admit I was not holding out much hope for this. I did try to cancel it but couldn't, well anyway it was much better than I expected. I can say i really enjoyed it the only thing i would charge is more Elvis songs at the after-party others wise it was great. So please don't listen to all the other reviews, just get over the hologram stuff and enjoy it.

If I could give a minus 1 star I would…
If I could give a minus 1 star I would have Truly the worst show I have ever ever seen!
We were so horribly let down.
Low low budget, terrible content that was almost irrelevant to Elvis….the show was dominated by a childhood friend who never saw him past primary school so literally knew nothing of his life! Why was the story about Sam Bell? Why?
And as for immersive - we were shoved in each holding cell like cattle… there was a desperation to the 4 actors who were trying to hold the show together but failing miserably and knew the audience were feeling frustrated and cheated. I felt so sorry for the actors tearing around trying to tell a completely useless story to a bemused crowd who had little energy to participate.
Holding cell 1 tedious incomprehensible
Holding cell 2 train ride - we learnt about Sam Bell
Holding cell 3 Blue Hawai bar - a chance for them to explore Elvis movie career but no! Just a chance to make more money from us and learn more about Sam bloody Bell!
Holding cell 4 - So fed up by this time we were just wanting to get out of this hellish experience a few clips of Elvis on screens and 3 scruffy looking band members trying to get a very bored audience to participate.
Holding cell 5 - Thank god the No Elvis at all experience is over! And what’s this another bar and a chance to pick your pickets once again!
A band with a pregnant lady singing Elvis songs swing style. No disrespect to her she was good but not what we paid for!!!!
In all I was totally disgusted with the quality, the content and the sheer banality and bare faced deceit of what was originally offered to us the paying public. You should be ashamed! And I for one would love my money back you don’t deserve a penny of it!!
