My favorite thing about my having Eloy as an instructor is his professional background in music theory. Before we spoke, I told him my goals were to become familiar with music theory and learn to read sheet music. Eloy took my requests and created a lesson plan that addressed them right on point. Eloy is flexible, patient, knowledgeable, and has always clarified any confusions. His rates are more than fair, as I have been provided with stronger 1 on 1 teaching than I have found even in my formal music instruction. I also love that Eloy provides progressively challenging guitar exercises (in PDFs that I can print out!) to practice between our lessons, keeping me occupied and prepared until our next meeting!

Eloy is a very talented guitar player with a gift for teaching. We’ve been doing virtual lessons for several months and he’s able to make them as effective as in-person lessons I’ve had. Where he stands out is his ability to find those little things technique or theory-wise that help me improve faster than I have with other lessons or online courses. He seems to have an endless supply of exercises and songs that are fun and keep me engaged and constantly learning. I highly recommend Eloy!

Eloy has been my guitar teacher for almost three years. I started from zero, and he has been wonderful in guiding me step by step throughout my journey! Playing guitar is not easy, but Eloy has always shown empathy and patience. I’ve always felt supported and encouraged to make progress. Taking lessons online has been very convenient for my schedule, and far from being a drawback, it has actually been an advantage. If you've been thinking of starting playing guitar for years (like myself), or if you're already a guitarist but would like to go even further, there's no doubt that Eloy will be an amazing teacher for you!

It is an honor to have Eloy as an instructor! Rarely will you find someone with more teaching (and playing) ability. He has taken an older student (me) and figured out ways to work around arthritic fingers, a trembling hand and a memory that sometimes struggles. He teaches music theory without you realizing that’s what you are studying. If you are 17 or 75, Eloy is your guy! Fantastic instructor!!!
