Good product, slow service but good installers
Our elevator was finally finished today, It appears to be just what we ordered. I have no issue with the elevator or the men who installed it who were all first rate and a pleasure to have in the house. My complaint is with the salespeople who take forever to return calls if, in fact, they do return them. If I was to enter a contract with Elevator Service again, I would insist on timeframes that had to be met with time of the essence and damages if the timing was not met. I started the contract process in October 2023 and the elevator was finished 12/11/24. I have a friend who has had a similar experience. There were delays in removing the existing elevator and scheduling work for the new one. Communications also were sloppy but that was not totally their fault as my construction manager passed away in the middle of the job. However, they knew the facts of his passing and were not great on passing conditions on to me. There is one person who does return calls and does exactly what she says she and the company will do - Kati Lewantoxicz. She was a total pleasure, and I would recommend doing everything through her rather than anyone else at the company.
