Please note that your recommendation was successfully uploaded to the Arkansas state system before your application was submitted. In fact, the state portal doesn’t allow patients to pay their state fee until the doctor’s recommendation is already in place. Thank you for your feedback — we’re sorry for any confusion along the way. Your appointment with the doctor was completed and we assisted in filling out your state application. All you need to do is the pay the state fee and submit. To clarify, the state application fee is always a separate charge that must be paid directly to the state. By law, medical card companies are not allowed to collect the state’s fee or include it in our pricing — which is why it isn’t bundled into your appointment cost. We also clearly state during the booking process and follow up emails that the state fee is not included. Your certification and state application are already taken care of — the final step is simply paying the fee on the state website so they can finish processing your card.
