I ordered the Aesop refill pouches They’re ok but it’s not good enough to stop me from buying the real ones. Postage was fast. But since my order I’m bombarded with advertising on my instagram & every time I enter site, thinking I’ll try the dupe diffusers oils and candles, no refills are available & even worse most stuff not available in Uk. Please get your act together & stop this nonsense advertising

I use Aesop all the time so the idea of halving the cost by purchasing Dessert Bloom was an exciting one. Unfortunately it’s been £25 literally down the drain. Not only does the smell not even come close to Aesop, it has a really cheap fragrance. It reminds me of service station hand wash. Not wanting to waste money, I used it anyway and now I have come out in a very nasty rash. Sadly I think this company is jumping on the dupe bandwagon but with no intention of trying to make a good product. I’ve used Noted Aromas before and they do excellent dupe products. Sadly they don’t do Aesop though.

I wanted to like this - I dig the packaging and the idea is super neat because Aesop products are eye wateringly pricey but alas, the Desert Bloom, which I spent £50 on, and which touts itself as an Aesop like for like is literally nothing like Aesop - watery, less unctuous, and with a kind of nothing scent. Disappointed.

Hand cream is oily and does not even smell great, let alone close to the original Aesop soap. A LOT of false advertisements on the website (£19 on the listing but when you check out it's £24), and on socials claiming it's a dupe. It's a passable hand cream but not worth £24, save your money and buy the real thing.

Got baited by Instagram ad, as I'm sure many have, and bought Mandarin Crush hand soap (Aesop Resurrection dupe) and Desert Bloom body soap (Aesop Geranium Leaf dupe). They are passable soaps but far from the respective original in terms of scent, texture/feel and persistence - they smell different (and not in a good way), are far more watery and the scent lingers for significantly less than the original Aesop products. Yes, they are much cheaper than Aesop but I don't think they are worth what they cost - you can definitely get better smelling/feeling soaps for less (e.g. Sukin). I would rate them 3 stars on their own merit based on price but am deducting a star because their whole selling point / marketing is as dupe to expensive brands and, in that regard, they are not even close, based on the two samples I purchased. Will not be buying again.

Was very keen on trying the candle refills and the hand wash. The handwash product is not bad though doesn’t really smell as advertised (le labo), so not a huge problem there. My problem lies with the candle refills as the one I got at least (baies) really missed the mark. The packaging and idea behind this company is great, however on this occasion, products didn’t match the hype.

Refills are really watery and smell way off the original they’re trying to dupe. They must have fake reviews or these people have very poor olfactory senses. Disappointed

If someone is saying this is the same as the genuine they must be paid for the review or just simply didn't ever have the genuine product. It is fine but sorry it is not even close to the original and also leaves this weird artificial smell on hands. Not recommend. If you can't afford a genuine one just do not overpay for this cause it is still super expensive comparing to nice soap from your local organic shop
