Do not use!! I ordered off their site a Panasonic remote that matched the same number as mine for $25 and a week later I get a Panasonic remote that is not even close - missing most buttons including the Internet option. NOT EVEN CLOSE! I emailed them and all they say "you should have received some paperwork in the package explaining that the manufacturer discontinued the item". Then I called and explained, but once she pulled my order began with "the manufacturer..." I said "WAIT A MINUTE, your website has the remote listed, has the correct picture, and no where does it say it's not available, not the same, etc"... so "why would your package person NOT look at your website image/remote number and email me to say that "It's not available", but rather chooses to send a dud?" How is this good business??? It's as if you order pizza and you get mash potatoes with a paper saying "not enough dough, so we went with potatoes instead." Take it! Then she started screaming at me, saying that I scream at her. Then she wished me a good day and hung up. Not a call to inform me of availability, not an email...NOTHING!! Just bad business! ZERO STARS

I was really excited when they claimed to have the extremely specific Sony remote model number I needed that only works with my specific combination of Sony DVD & Bravia products. I immediately ordered the remote, paying all the lame shipping&handling fees AND THEY SENT ME THE WRONG REMOTE. They asked me to try the remote they sent, which shocker i know, did not work... DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU NEED A SPECIFIC MODEL NUMBER REMOTE THAT IS NO LONGER MADE BY THE ODM, THEY DO NOT HAVE THE ODM REMOTE MODEL NUMBERS THEY CLAIM TO HAVE FOR SALE!!! Just buy your remote from Sony if you need a replacement and if Sony does not sell it because it's no longer made you're, like me, S.O.L.

UPDATE "Didn't get what I ordered either" review ... Two weeks after EA / NRI (a Charlie Waters "company") instructed me to return the wrong remote they sent me by writing "REFUSED / RTS" on the package, thereby using the USPS to cover the cost of shipping it back to them, I had NOT seen a refund on my credit card. So, I emailed them on Jan 9th and amazingly they issued a refund on Jan 10th. The refund included my original shipping fees they charged! The good part of the transaction is that it didn't cost be anything by time. The bad part (for them) is that I will never do business with EA or NRI or any future operation associated with CHARLIE WATERS - if, if, if I can find out he's involved. Maybe he'll hide his name and continue to run scam shops - who knows. Check them out at the BBB, too. EA / NRI has developed a long list of customers, some of which have been truly victimized by EA / NRI's chosen business practices.

Skip this vendor, they are a scam. They show remotes on their website that are actually not made anymore and accept your order (with a high shipping fee - but what are you going to do if you really need it?). However, what you receive is a dummy/toy remote (with no temperature options, just on and off) that doesn't even turn on. When you return it, they say they never got it. (I had anticipated this and used USPD signature required). After they had to admit they received it, they still will not reimburse my shipping costs. Read the BBB cases on them and reviews on other sites. Why this is legal, I don't understand. Awful people, awful business. Their families should be real proud. They also go by the name of New Remotes.

I ordered a very specific discontinued remote from them because they had a photo of the exact thing I wanted. Instead, they shipped me some worthless piece of junk that wasn't even remotely close to what I'd ordered. Now I'm stuck wasting $16 on shipping ($8 each way) because they just didn't seem to think I'd notice or that it mattered. Moreover, it took a week and a half to arrive, which is absurd because $8 would've more than covered the cost of a USPS 2-Day Priority Mail padded envelope, which are free from USPS for the asking. (i.e., They made a buck on the shipping, too.) Avoid this sad excuse of a business. Electronic Adventure? The review remains until you resolve the problem and do so ASAP.

Asked for help on a remote and got less than a sentence back. We don't carry that model No guidance assistance just go away, can't make easy money out of you. Don't waste your time

He's now doing business as New Remotes, Inc. They sent me a model that I did not order, and although compatible, it was unusable due to a vision disorder. I requested the refund of nearly $16.00 in postage (delivery plus return costs) and of course, did not receive them. A $20.00 remote I couldn't use and did not order, ended up costing me $16.00. How unethical. Do not do business with Charlie Waters of NRI. He has done business under a variety of company names. Beware.

HORRIBLE!!!! I wish I had seen these reviews prior to ordering. The experience is as bad as many people have already written. I ordered a specific remote. They sent me a totally different remote with a letter in the envelop asking I "give it a try". I emailed them that I needed the remote I ordered because it had other functions that this remote didn't. Essentially, they sent a much cheaper model. The letter that came with the remote did not offer a discounted priced for the cheaper model they sent. I wrote in the email that I wanted a refund. I received a return email from their customer service again asking me to "try it". At this point, I am angry with the time it is taking to get a refund on a product I never ordered so I decided to call the company to explain why the remote was not going to work for me. I told the person that answered the phone the situation. She told me to return it for refund. I then asked why I should be responsible for paying shipping costs for the return when it was a product I never wanted. At this point she told me to dig through the garbage for the original packing so I could return it to sender. She was very rude so I asked to speak to the manager or owner of the company and she told me she was the owner. She tried to tell me that I should have received an email explaining that a different remote was being sent. This was a lie. I never would have agreed. Basically, just as others have said, this company is a scam that charges your credit card then expects you to go out of your way to return something you never ordered! Many complaints with the Better Business Bureau. HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!
