I have been trying to make a return since June. They claim their returns portal was being set up, now they’re at the point where they’re not even selling their glasses on their website, and my credit card company has been terrible about this situation. Dl

Have been loyal purchaser for over a decade. Ever since the company sold to Fitlab it has been complete trash. I made a warranty claim which they immediately agreed to. All was great. Picked a replacement pair. Get an email “Get excited” your order is processing, etc… 3 weeks later nothing. Follow up and am told they are out of stock, even though they’re available on website. Now the really bad part. This cycle has occurred 4 times now over the course of 6 months. I pick a replacement they tell me it’s being processed, never ship, I follow up they tell me that pair is out of stock, I pick another and so on. Now they’re telling me pick a pair but they have no clue when they’ll ship. I suspect they just bring you through this ringer because some jerk gets enjoyment out of messing with customers, it’s the only thing that makes sense. I read around and see this is a common thing with many other really frustrated former brand loyalists. Would have much rather they just deny the warranty from the start instead of all this bs. Or just don’t sell with a warranty. Just be honest. They’re not. Looking into further action based on unfair and deceptive trade practices. Seems like the new owners are really a**clowns. They got sued for not paying their store painter. Just ridiculous from a brand I used to love.

I've had 5 different pairs of their sunglasses over the last 10 years from Electric. Absolutely loved their product and remained loyal despite the higher price point. Ordered a new pair of sunglasses early in May for the summer. Their site did mention a 5-7 delay due to some warehouse changes. This wasn't a problem for me, so I proceeded. Fast forward 2 months, and I've sent a dozen emails, and their replies are stone-cold stock replies with excuses about high volume and operational changes. Never any clarity provided about whether they even have the sunglasses in stock and if/when they'll actually ship. I gave up, demanded a refund, and keep getting the excuse that cancellations will be delayed. From the other reviews, they've been giving these excuses for over a year. I won't ever be coming back. Hopefully they're out of business soon.

a month later still haven't received my order, or shipment confirmation, or a response to my inquiries or requests to cancel my order. How you can run a business like this? if you're out of stock, just say so, if there's another issue be communicative about it, but ghosting your customer who paid top dollar for a pair of glasses when you couldn't execute is really only making things worse. Judging from other reviews i'm not alone.

Amazing sunglasses, terrible customer support. Been a customer for over 10 years, love the sunglasses, love the lenses. I reached out about a warranty claim of which they quickly agreed to replace. It’s now been 2 months and I can’t get a response. Customer services is terrible!

Ordered a pair of glasses from them 5/24/26. To be fair, they said it may be 5-7 extra days while they moved warehouses. Almost a month later, with just automated response, they still were unable to ship ONE pair of glasses I paid for almost a month later, and instantly cancelled my order when I told them to. Like they didn’t even care they lost a customer for life. I’ll be selling or throwing away my other 2 pairs of Blacktops. What a shit company.

After following up on my refund for 6 months, which Electric repeatedly said was coming, they told me to fight that I should instead fight with my credit card. I do not understand how you can have a return policy stating you will refund people for returns within 14 days - but then continue to say you are "too busy" to process the refund for over 6 months. I emailed Electric 18 times trying to resolve this and get the refund I was properly owed after returning merchandise according to all return policies. After reaching out yet again, Electric had the audacity to say "There is a chargeback dispute that Citibank sided with you. There is nothing else we can do for this order." I cannot believe their solution to customer's returns is telling people they received the merchandise but are too busy - and contact your credit card company instead. Bottom line: Their customer service does not exist. They make it your problem and lie to you over and over. What a SCAM. As a customer for over 10 years, I will never purchase or let anyone I know purchase Electric again.

I have been an Electric customer since the early 2000s and that patronage ends today. I bought $50 Modena Matte Black/Grey Polarized sunglasses from your company, but they don't fit despite similar dimensions to my previous Electric sunglasses. I tried to return them, but couldn't because they are on sale. Your website states: 'Send unworn, like-new products in original packaging, drop off with carrier, keep invoice and tracking; a return confirmation and credit will be issued within 7 days. Shipping charges are non-refundable.' This return policy doesn't mention sale items. I want to return these or get a refund, as I believed I could. I received this response: Unfortunately, items purchased on sale are considered final sale and are not eligible for returns or refunds.   We appreciate your understanding, and thank you for being a valued Electric customer.
