The videos used for the training were realistic. The question regarding the videos insured that I was learning not only about what was being said, but about the nonverbal communication of the participants as well, which is so important.
Response from Edwards Mediation AcademyOct 20, 2026
Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re glad you found the video scenarios realistic and the questions helpful in developing your awareness of both verbal and nonverbal communication. Recognizing nonverbal cues is such an important skill in mediation, and we’re happy this training helped strengthen that understanding!

I found all the sessions extremely helpful
I found all the sessions extremely helpful. I very much appreciate the documets provided as well. Watching the mediation progress was very instructive, as were the short video explanations by experts. The least helpful for me was the journalling aspect.

A useful and practical course
This was a useful and very practical course which is essential viewing for anyone who is, or wants to be a mediator. Bruce Edwards is a wise and experienced mediator who gives numerous tips and suggestions as to how to mediate even the most difficult cases. Other experienced mediators give advice as well. One of the best parts is the course shows Bruce doing a mediation. Highest recommendation.

All the mediators were excellent and…
All the mediators were excellent and all quite unique in their styles. It certainly opened my eyes to the "science" of mediation and the "art" of mediation. I am a bit guilty, I haven't stopped working since the week before my launch and I still I one assignment to complete. I really appreciated Bruce's style, approach, professional but accommodating presence. Thanks. The class opened my eyes to the tip of the iceberg but made me realize how much more there is to learn.
Response from Edwards Mediation AcademyApr 29, 2026
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We’re glad the course helped highlight both the science and art of mediation, and we’ll be sure to share your kind words with Bruce. We appreciate you sharing your experience!
