Edvo exceeded my expectations and left me feeling empowered in my career journey! I have a deeper understanding of how the job process works both as an applicant and from the perspective of a recruiter. I know where to spend my time maximize my opportunities and tips/tricks to help me stand out. Shireen is an energetic teacher who helps the group bond quickly, responds to questions, and an all-around joy to learn from!

Shireen helped me navigate some challenging conversations, tough decisions, and picked me up during some of the inevitable lowlights of job hunting. It's a simultaneously exhilarating, exhausting, and emotional journey, and she not only acknowledges those things, but actually listens. Her advice is actionable, knowledgable, and unbiased, which is such a refreshing point of view that I wouldn't have had otherwise. I seek out a lot of professional development events so believe me when I say Shireen is one of the most motivating, enlightening, transparent & enthusiastic to help individuals! I attended the Job Search Bootcamp via Zoom over the course of 4 days. Some of the best networking tips I've ever received. Not only during networking events but more importantly what to do AFTER! Shireen breaks it all down to simple action items, and in the process helping young professionals like myself realize the key is to be your genuine self. But what I appreciate most is that the help and support doesn't end with the bootcamp. It continues even after and you get access to a long list of resources!

I was introduced to Edvo through outplacement services offered by employer due to COVID-19 layoffs. Having never worked with professional services prior, I was apprehensive about working with Edvo. During my first session I was introduced to Shireen who was incredible warm, empathic, and comprehensive in understanding my professional background and goals. We spent our sessions throughly reviewing my resume, LinkedIn, and established strategies for approaching my job hunt. I was able to achieve my goals of finding a new position within several weeks! I highly recommend anyone to Edvo for their thoughtful and effective methodologies.

Shireen was a voice of reason and confidence in a confusing time. A great coach who kept me on the rails when things were going too fast. My only regret is waiting as long as I did to start taking advantage of the resource. Bravo!

Shireen was able break down the complex process of networking and provided actionable items to take away for individuals to be held accountable even after the bootcamp. Going into the bootcamp I didn't have much confidence how to approach my job search but I left the bootcamp knowing that I have a supportive community and list of resources for me to tackle my job search with confidence. I truly can say this boot camp was so informational and helpful! I now am much more confident when it comes to utilizing LinkedIn and reaching out to new people. I love how organic the tips I received are and can’t wait to form natural connections within my network.
