I am told to invest £150 then the AI takes care of wheeling and dealing it on the stock market so you don’t have to. The company (who is the Company?) don’t take fees or commissions. They explained the more people who invest, the more they are able to make between the buying and selling pause? What am I being asked to sign up to? Sounds on here that it’s for people who wish to learn about AI in general or technology across the board? Please explain lucidly?

Shady payment policy. No subscription renewals. So, I did not use it last year due to low quality content. And now paying for no use at all for auto subscription.

My annual Educative subscription was automatically renewed for £125 on August 15, 2026. I did not receive an email reminder about the upcoming renewal. I noticed the charge shortly afterwards and immediately cancelled the renewal and contacted Educative to request a refund. I expected at least a response from customer support so that my specific situation could be reviewed. Instead, I have now contacted them three times: Initial email to contact team Follow-up to contact team Email to support team I have received no response to any of them. What's particularly frustrating is that Educative's own response to another customer with the same issue tells customers to contact support team for their specific concerns. I did exactly that, but still received no reply. I find the combination of an unexpected £125 renewal, no reminder that I noticed, and completely unresponsive customer support extremely disappointing.

Shittiest education platform ever. They enable auto renewal without your consent and then no button to cancel

I trust this platform as the place to improve my skills. I have been on and off many platforms and wish I found this one sooner. It's a very cool spot on the internet to learn and explore new ideas. Taking my time with the Computer Science path and I poke around to get a leg on other topics I see in school. They feature a wide variety of excellent, well-written courses and many have helpful visuals. I like that I can piece together smaller courses or learn with a Path. I like being able to practice coding in the browser. I like the AI feature allowing me to ask clarifying questions or reword something for me. Also Fenzo is really cool for guided tutorials and experimenting with my mistakes. Definitely renewing my subscription when the time comes. Looking forward to becoming the next John.

They sent me an email claiming I had 40$ credit on a two year plan. The checkout went through, the 40$ credit was not applied, so I opened a dispute with my bank. The dispute was denied on the same day internally within my bank. It's been almost a month now and the company will not give me a refund claiming there is a dispute, even though my bank states that it has been resolved and there is no such thing. I'm not quite sure what they are waiting for to issue me a refund. Regardless, they robbed me twice, first when they didn't apply the credit they had so graciously offered, and again when they denied me my refund up until now. These shady business tactics are highway robbery.

Received a marketing email for an $80 credit, that should appear automatically in the checkout cart. No such credit there. I reached out to support 5 times, no response. Use a different platform like Algomonster. edit: It looks like educative's review reply bot has suggested that... I do exactly what I've been doing.

There are not many text based online schools. It seems, most of the people are doing better with videos. I am not one of them in general. And it always upsets me when I have to scroll through the video when I need a reminder. I don't remember already how I found Educative. I have had great time with it and just prolonged my subscription for another two years. Networking, Terraform, C have been the new topics for me. I started exploring them on Educative right away. I relied on the consise, structured courses that I selected. They made me curious and they provided me with the hints on how to continue digging using the other resources. "A practical guide to AWS IAM" has helped me to finally make sense of this AWS service. Again, having a lot of food for thought I went to AWS docs, AI chats etc, expending what I learned from this nice consise course. I did Educative AWS labs a couple of times to get used to a service that was new to me. It was also good to have an opportunity not to mess with my own account or account at work.
