The batten kill spool looks like the battenkill reel with the picture. So I basically bought an overpriced spool when I thought I was getting a good deal on a reel. Misleading advertising

Desperate to make sales, apparently not interested in making customers
Ed's fly shop is so desperate to make sales that they're willing to send you a different product from what you ordered. I do realize that there are limitations in what's in stock, but send an email first before processing an order and then sending a different item. Unhelpful customer service and snarky responses.

I'm sorry you feel that way. That's not our intention at all. Being that we ran out of the color you ordered and these are backordered. We sent you the other black bag we had. If you didn't like. We have no problem refunding the order. A return label was sent out.
