Unbelievable
I thought I had finally found a good website, with caring and concerned professionals, who could provide me with the medication I needed and which my provider will not prescribe for me. I am an adult, aged 48, responsible and intelligent, and should not have to go through what AccessRX has done to me. They have apparently "blacklisted" me because I forgot that I ordered medicine from them in April. Now, I don't know about all of you, but I personally don't keep a record of all the dates I go to my pharmacy to pick up prescriptions, nor do I keep a record in front of me of any orders I put in on online sites. Apparently I reordered too soon (as it takes a bit for the product to get to my house, I typically like to order ahead of when I anticipate running out so that I don't run into a situation of not having my medication when I need it). When I called AccessRX to do the requisite medical review after ordering, they told me they couldn't release it yet because I had ordered too soon as I had just ordered in April. I thought the last I had ordered was sometime in March or thereabouts. Apparently because I didn't know the exact date of my order, they decided that I was a liar and therefore, not entitled to pay my own good money to buy their medicine. They are now requiring me to get a prescription from my doctor and fax it to them to "prove" that my doctor agrees with my taking the medicine. I told them the WHOLE REASON I ordered from them is BECAUSE my doctor doesn't believe in suppressive antivirals. So how do they think I will get a prescription proving she AGREES with it? Nonsense and utterly ridiculous. Completely irrational. These people don't mind taking your money, but when it comes down to it, they are not caring and concerned medical professionals. They are like anybody else in any industry - out to make a buck. I tried several times to have a rational discussion about this and explain to them why I can't get a prescription. If I could get a prescription, I'd be ordering through my drugstore (AND my medical insurance) rather than paying cost-prohibitive rates to an online provider. You would do better to take your money elsewhere, I'm sorry to say.
