EditageReviews of editage.com

I got three rounds of translator/editor work for a Japanese interview translation into English. Although I was finally satisfied with the third product, I was very unhappy with the first and second products. It took almost two months for my work to be complete. I hope I can receive a high quality product on my first request next time.

I am very disappointed with the service provided by Editage. I sent a document to be reviewed, and the outcome was catastrophic. The editor did not know about the subject, changed the meaning of the sentences, used wrong terms, and just mentioning a few. On top of the poor quality, I spent three times more than I usually spent with another provider, and the turnaround time was way longer. I strongly advise you not to use their services

Editage used to provide excellent editing services. I really do not know what happened during COVID. During 2021 I have had the worst editing experience with Editage. They claim to get editors with PhDs and experienced in your field but that was inaccurate. They got a South African nurse to edit a journal article in feminist philosophies of language. The nurse was not a native speaker of English and actually introduced new errors in my script. I submitted another article via Wiley editing unaware that they work with editage. The Editage team got an Indian fellow with a degree from a nondescript Indian university and has no clue about gendered protests. Put simple, don't bother with Editage. They used to be good, but all good things come to an end.
