Amazingly robust system with excellent service.
I chose eDirectory to build a community web site with a list of businesses, events, deals, articles and a blog. I looked at many other systems, many of them cheaper, but chose eDirectory because it seemed like they had WAY more features that I needed/wanted, including built-in SEO tools, reviews & ratings, a fairly simple interface for the users, a built-in blog, an import tool (which I used for the business list I purchased), and MANY other features that nobody else had. My site has been up and running now, for nearly 2 years. Things have gone quite smoothly, and the site is ranking well for many keywords and gets consistent traffic. (Better all the time.) The posts from the blog rank especially well, and for businesses without a good web presence, their listing from my site shows up high in the search results. Please note that the site would probably be harder to manage by somebody without at least some web site experience. I did have custom changes done to my site by eDirectory and they did an excellent job of making them and following up until it was done right. I had the Google AdSense boxes dropped in by them, among other things. Compared to other companies, I think their rates are good for custom programming. Also their team is good to work with and they know what they are doing. If they don't do it right, they will fix it for you. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the eDirectory software. It is not the cheapest or the simplest system, but I wasn't looking for the cheapest or the simplest. (You get what you pay for!) I was looking for the best system with a complete set of features, and that's what I got. There have been some glitches along the way but they are always quick to respond and are happy to help with whatever needs to be done. I highly recommend eDirectory to anyone who is looking for a complete set of features and excellent service.
