MAK's ECM RebuildersReviews of ecmrebuilders.com

Do Not do business with these people. They send you an old junk ECM. Then when you return it they charge you a rental fee. I could tell that mine was not rebuilt because you could see rust. This is a total scam.

You sent me a PCM that did not work!, upon my phone call to try to return this unit I was hung up on 3 times and then a guy calls me back and only wanted to say that I had an attitude with him and only wanted to listen to himself talk and not hear my side and my frustration and then he hangs up on my as well!, I had to buy another vehicle because your product did not work. The guy that called me back said that's how it works! You will not be getting a good rating from me unless I am able to return this junk for what I pad for it! I do not recommend this company!

Bad ECU from day one, No start 2015 Dodge promaster. It is not ( plug & play) ECM would not sync with BCM even after their tech support instructions , after returning ECM they refuse to sent full refund charging me $120 for rental fee. I would not recommend to do business with this company.

Bad ECU from day one, No start 2017 Dodge promaster. It is not ( plug & play) ECU would not sync with BCM even after their tech support instructions, I paid for their 2 day shipping, it was sent by ground and received it 8 days later, installed ECU 2 days with tech support and still not starting. We requested a replacement, tech email me they don't have anymore in stock. Request a FULL refund, and was charged $120 with no explanation or breakdown for the $120 dollars, after requesting a full breakdown their response is now a "rental fee" in which I had this part for 3 days in which 2 days was spent with their tech support trying to get this part to start/work. We will dispute this purchase with our credit company, I would NOT recommend doing business with this company. Unfortunately you have to leave a star before leaving feedback !

Ordered in stock part I needed ASAP. Got an email that said “as our website stated part was on back order “. Pulled the part back up and website still showed in stock. I emailed a screenshot and told them I wanted a refund so I could order somewhere else. Waited 2 days with no response. I emailed them again and the response was that the item would ship next day. I had already ordered elsewhere because I told them to refund. Now I have an extra I don’t need and can’t afford.

I still don’t work not programmed correctly. Took over a month and a half and every time I called the supervisor was always busy. I don’t advise anyone to buy anything from this place.

I sent my module in for repairs on UPS. They say my module never arrived. UPS tracked the delivery to their shop. Thay claim the person who signed for it doesn't work there. I had to buy another one. A month and a half and they won't do anything to help me.

4/19/24- Order placed and said it was "in stock" 4/23/24- Received email saying ECM was not in stock, but one had been sourced and I would receive an email when it shipped. 4/25/24- Sent an email saying I needed it by 5/3 or 5/4, if not cancel the order. No response. 4/29/24- I called and the representative could only tell me the order was still being processed, no other details. He had no knowledge of any emails that had been exchanged. I told him to cancel the order and issue the refund. He confirmed the order was cancelled and the refund would be issued in 1-3 business days. 5/3/24- No refund issued. I called back and got the same representative. He confirmed the order was cancelled, but didn't have information about the refund. I was put on hold. After a minute, he hung up on me. I called back and got Henry. Henry saw the order was cancelled and the refund was in the queue. He told me he would look further into it and he would call me back. After a few minutes, he called back and told me the refund was processed. Cheers to Henry for taking care of business. It was the end of the week when Henry said the refund was processed. I will confirm with the bank that the money showed back up. If it didn't, I will update this review. Overall, I would not do business with this company. Up until the end, I felt like this was a scam.
