Dear Iain: Oh Yes, they surely block out much; but regarding your comment being "hard"; that is most surprising, because Mighty Plugs are regarded as the "most comfortable" ear plugs in the world. The reason being is because the Beeswax becomes (soft like bread dough) and warms to your body temperature. Iain, I'm confident the issue is that our ear plugs are "TOO LARGE" for your ear canals. Iain, just pinch of about 1/3rd and insert a ((smaller ear plug)); and you'll notice a difference. Most sincerely Mary-customer service

Dear Sidney: That's an easy fix!!! Push our ear plug in a bit further and allow it to SEAL your ear canal. Then listen to the SILENCE. Kindest regards Mary-customer service

Dear John: Oh yes, we know they do the job and really block out; but it sounds as tho you are not used to inserting and wearing an ear plug; and ironcially these are the softest most comfortable ear plugs on the planet. John, you might pinch off a little and insert a smaller ear plug. Possibly our ear plug is too large for your ear canal. Most sincerely Mary-customer service

Dear Teri: THIS IS AN (( EASY )) FIX!! The ear plugs need to (( SEAL )) the ear!!! Teri, have him push the ear plug a bit more firmly into the ear canal and allow the ear plugs to (( SEAL )) the ear canal. You'll see, that will work and he won't hear you! Mary-customer service

Dear DS: I wish we could tell you where your ear plugs are going and how they are shrinking; but we can't. We honestly don't know for we are not experiencing this experience. DS, we wear them too, every day and night and they keep their size day after day, week after week ( FOR US ); and not only that; WE GET OVER 35 WEARINGS PER PAIR!!! Dear Tamara: Yes, comfortable to be sure, BUT it's EVEN BETTER FOR (( BLOCKING OUT ))!!! Tamara, push the ear plug a bit deeper into your ear so that it doesn't protrude out so far and get involved with your hair. Allow the ear plug to (( SEAL )) your ear canal, and then listen to only SILENCE!!! You won't hear him! Most sincerely Mary-customer service and a very satisfied nightly wearer for the past 12 years

Dear Kim: They're even "Better" than advertised: Kim, please follow the below instructions (exactly), and the Mighty Plugs will do MORE than the advertisments!!!! 1. First take ONE ear plug at a time, and (knead or work) it well through your fingers or hands for 15-20 seconds, to make the ear plug (soft and mouldable). Then follow the directions in # 2 2. Push and flatten the softened ear plug, (a bit firmly), IN and AGAINST your ear opening & into your ear canal UNTIL YOU FEEL the ear plug ( SEAL ) your ear canal. YES, It needs to SEAL the ear to block out much. IMPORTANT: If the ear plug doesn't (( SEAL )) immediately, then just keep your finger pressed against it with slight pressure for a few more seconds and it will warm and SEAL PERFECTLY. 3. Now take the other ear plug, and prepare it and insert it (exactly) the same way as the first ear plug. Now with both ears SEALED, LISTEN TO (( SILENCE )) !!!!!!
