Dear Richard: They are the BEST!!!!>>>>> BUT ONLY when you insert our Beeswax ear plug correctly. If you allow our ear plugs to SEAL your ear canals, then the amount of sound blocked out would be very very noticeable. Richard, please follow these instructions below ( exactly ) and you'll be pleasantly surprised!!!! 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and ( work it or knead it ) thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it ( soft and malleable ) When the ear plug is soft and malleable, then it’s ready to insert; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug a bit ((more)) FIRMLY (then before) & FLATTEN it (IN, AGAINST) and (INTO) your ear canal, ( until you feel a GOOD SEAL ). IMPORTANT: If it doesn’t SEAL immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds, until it will SEAL well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. Dear Susan: This is an EASY FIX!!!! When you insert our Beeswax ear plug correctly, you'll find that they are much much more effective at blocking out sound then a Foam earplug. One thing for sure; you are not allowing our ear plug to SEAL your ear canal, for If you did, the amount of sound blocked out would be very very noticeable and definitely no comparison at all to Foam ear plugs. Dear Vicky: The slight blue residue will sometimes be evident on the first removal of the ear plug. It is the Lanolin and food grade colorant. Purely harmless and dissipates almost immediately. Now, if you inserted Mighty Plugs to where they SEAL your ear canals, then you would surely have noticed the SILENCE!!!!! Vicky you've got the ((HIGHEST BLOCKING)) Ear Plugs in the World. Dear Anna: Your review is another "simple" one for us to understand. "hair got stuck to them" you say? If your hair got involved with the ear plugs, then please insert the ear plugs a little further into your ear canal and your hair will not get involved with the ear plugs. All of us gals in the office have long hair and wear this magnificent ear plug every night with "never" any issue with our hair. Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug a bit ((more)) FIRMLY (then before) & FLATTEN it (IN, AGAINST) and INTO your ear canal, (until you feel a GOOD SEAL). I’ve been wearing these exact ear plugs every night for the past 12 years to block out my husband’s snoring; and I also wear them when I go into our factory because of the loud machinery. THEY WORK WONDERFULLY for they are HIGHEST BLOCKING ear plugs in existence; but; (Upon insertion) they MUST (( SEAL )) your ear canals to block out well!! Sarah, for just ONE or TWO more days, please follow the steps below (exactly), and allow these fine Beeswax ear plugs to (( SEAL )) your ear canals. IMPORTANT: IF you insert them a (bit more) firmly, deeper ((into)) your ear canal and allow them to SEAL, you will notice a significant decrease in the outside sound. 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it (soft, malleable) and slightly “tacky”. When the ear plug is soft and malleable, then it’s ready to insert; just follow the next step. 2. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make this Beeswax Ear Plug (soft and malleable). When the ear plug is soft, malleable and ready to insert; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug ( a bit more FIRMLY) and FLATTEN it against your ear opening and ((into your ear canal)); until you feel a (( GOOD SEAL ))!!!!!!!!!!!!. until you feel a (( GOOD SEAL ))!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
