Can't rate them at this time because I haven't received them yet! I'm a little worried. I didn't expect it to take this long
I was hoping to get them before now. I'm disappointed that it's taken so long.

These noise reduction was adequate but the plugs are extremely uncomfortable and even hurt the ear canal, twas a wast of perfectly good money. i wish that somebody could develop something that works , is comfortable and doesn't cost an arm and a leg , if i remember these are not cheep ...in a monitory way however its just some cheep wax type material mark up must be great for your company i will not recommend and am very unhappy. Hank Bollinger How can the planet have such tech. but cannot do somthing so dam simple ?

Dear Hank: Our Beeswax ear plug needs to be (kneaded or worked) between one's fingers or hands for 20-30 seconds before inserting. Secondly the customer needs to either use the whole ear plug or pinch off some to create the PERFECT size for their individual ear canal. This is not a cheap parafin wax. This is an expensive pure filtered Beeswax that can be re-used between 30 and 50 times or more. You have got a very fine ear plug there. You just need to know how to use it. Give it a Fair Test Hank! Most sincerely Joseph-customer service

I can still hear my wife snoaring using these plugs. These plugs made no difference at all as compared to standard silcone plugs I have tried in the past. Honestly, a waste of money.

Dear Jeff: I’ve been wearing them nightly for the past 10 years, and here’s how to get the best results from this fine ear plug. The VERY FIRST TIME that one is about to use our ear plug, they must work or knead the ear plug between their fingers or hands thoroughly for at least 30 seconds, to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the earplug. All later insertions will only require kneading the ear plug for just 10 seconds. Jeff, please follow the steps below for correctly (preparing & inserting), and you will experience this fine ear plug at its best! 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it}thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 30 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly tacky so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat, long or narrow; just follow step 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY & FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal until you feel a GOOD SEAL! If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will warm and seal well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you should notice a big improvement. 4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out. Jeff, you've got the best ear plug made. Just have a little patience and you'll notice that they work much much better than you thought. Sincerely Molly-customer service

on first attempt these plugs are pretty weird. kind of like sticking a wad of gum in your ear. they do some quieting but nothing like advertised. I could still hear the fridge running. how these would ever keep you from hearing a dog bark or someone snoring is beyond me. very disappointed. a waste of money. foam one work better.

Well, like most people who have bought these, I've tried all of the different kinds of earplugs out there. These were the worst I've ever tried. Too soft - like playdough. I had some get stuck in my ear canal and had to have it dug out. Crazy. What a waste of money this was...and the 2-day shipping on top of that.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsJun 23, 2013
Dear Lisa: We've sent you the HIGHEST BLOCKING, MOST COMFORTABLE, LONGEST REUSABLE ear plug in existence; but getting part of the ear plug stuck in your ear canal is a bit careless and difficult to do. We ask all our customers to not push the ear plug in so far in that it difficult to remove. You just push it and flatten it against the ear opening and it will seal the ear and stay there and do the job; blocking out! Most sincerely Mary-customer service

So I'm sent a request asking for a review before I've had the product. What sort of rubbish company would do that. I'm dreading the completion of my order.

Despite my queries being of a professional nature, the company took them as a personal slight and responded in an unseemly manner. Below are details of the correspondence I had with Beneficial Products. My queries about non- delivery of my order were not addressed and questions I asked were not answered. Dear Sir/madam, I ordered earplugs from your company and my order has not arrived yet. In the past, I have ordered from you on two occasions and my order has arrived to Ireland within 5 days. I sent two emails to you and I have telephoned twice. I was told to wait as international orders can take between 9 - 20 days. It is twenty days on Monday and considering the long time delay and the prompt delivery of my my previous orders, something has indeed gone awry. I emailed and telephoned your company in the hope of getting this matter cleared up as soon as possible. This has not happened. It says on your website that you offer the customer great service - I have not experienced this. Yesterday I rang and spoke to a lady called [private data removed]. I told her my story in detail and she assured me she understood and would talk to her boss re sending me a replacement pack as soon as possible and would email me by close of day to let me know the update. This did not happen. I have heard nothing. As I stated in my earlier emails, I have now been without earplugs for days and time is indeed of the essence. As a customer, I feel very let down by your company. I ordered a product on 26 March, paid for it, and have received nothing in return. I have had to contact you on 4 separate occasions - two of which were long distance phone calls from Ireland to the USA. Much of my time and money have been wasted regarding this matter. This is extremely poor customer service. I feel very let down. It is unacceptable that I have to go to such lengths to ensure I receive I product that I have paid for. I am a very dissatisfied customer. Your website states: 'We at Beneficial Products are keenly aware of the need for the customer's trust and comfort in E-commerce and mail order purchases. All of us here believe in, and do our best to practice the "Golden Rule"." Do unto others as we would have others do unto us". . . . We value & appreciate your trust & your satisfaction with our product.' In this instance the 'Golden Rule' has not been adhered to and the above are indeed empty words. I await your prompt reply vis a vis this matter. Apr 13 (6 days ago) to me Dear [private data removed]: We beg your pardon! We have done our best on this end. Your order came in on the 26th and we shipped it out on the 26th When the customer selects standard POST to have their order shipped Internationally, we obey their request. Orders going to Europe have to first leave with US mail then transfered to UK customs, then transfered back to Post delivery in Ireland. [private data removed], how can you expect us to control all this? I know you are dissapointed and when one becomes dissapointed there is a tendency to "point fingers of blame". Blaming us is wrong and unfair! Many many orders going to Europe take 4 weeks to arrive. That is the POST. They are unpredictable. Quite simply, please select FED-EX the next time. We offer that option. Most sincerely [private data removed]-BPI customer service manager Apr 13 (6 days ago) to earpluginfo In reply to your above email - I selected 'International Post - Airmail' when I placed my order - as I did with my previous two but when I checked my order, as processed on your end it reads: The shipping option you selected is: First Class Mail (Post) I did NOT select this option as it did not come up as an option on the order page. I selected International Post Airmail - usually arrives in 7 - 14 days. Hence the cost on my email, and what was taken from my Visa - $39.90. The above box is the one I selected from your website, as I did already on the two previous occasions. I was told in a earlier email that the order would take 9 - 20 days and now you are informing me that orders to Europe can take 4 weeks. The lack of clarity re this matter is astounding. As is the tone of your email. I, as customer, have done nothing wrong. Quite simply, choosing the FedEx option is unrealistic and costly and should not be suggested, as the International Air option I selected before delivered the product satisfactorily in 5 days, on both occasions. You have made no mention of sending me a replacement product, or even apologised for the trouble I have had to go to, which I think is disgraceful customer service, considering the time delay and the fact that I DID NOT CHOOSE FIRST CLASS MAIL. It was just typed in as an option when the receipt was emailed to me, as stated already and can be seen from above - it is not, and was not, an option available to me. I believe human error on your end has chosen the incorrect shipping method and you are taking no responsibility whatsoever, which I find appalling. The tone of your email is harsh and rude and does not contain any note by way of apology, which is what should be given to the customer in this circumstance. I am shocked by this customer service. I repeat, I, as customer, have done nothing wrong. I find myself on the receiving end of a defensive, unprofessionally worded email from a Customer Services Manager. To reiterate - I did not choose FIRST CLASS MAIL - POST, the option is not there on the drop down menu of the order page. Apr 14 (5 days ago) to me Oh [private data removed]: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! STOP BLAMING---STOP NAME CALLING AND STOP FINGER POINTING AT US! We've doing our best and yet you continue to beat us down. Most sincerely [private data removed]

They feel like a big heavy plug in the ear. I thought it would be much softer and lighter. I am thinking of sending the package back.
