Didn't you receive the instruction card with your order.
Our ultra-high blocking ear plug is made from Beeswax and it arrives slightly firm.
Just as you are about to insert, you must (work or knead) the ear plugs through your fingers or hands for 20 seconds to make them soft and moldable.
Then you insert this soft and moldable ear plug and allow it to seal your ear.
Prepare and insert them this way and you will be "pleasantly shocked" at how comfortable they are and at the total "silence"!

OF course they work wonderfully, but you have to follow the instructions for preparing and inserting the ear plugs. If you follow these instructions exactly, you will be pleasantly 'shocked' at how well they block out.
Note! Many women with smaller ear canals do not insert the whole ear plug; for just after they have kneaded the ear plug to make it soft and moldable, they pinch off at least (a third), and insert a smaller ear plug that fits their ear canal better, is more comfortable, seals easier and blocks out better.
1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat, long or narrow; just follow the next step. If you are going to pinch off to make a smaller ear plug, then now is the time.
2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY & FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will seal well.
3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you will notice a big improvement.
4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out.

It doesn't block out noise at all
These plugs do not block out noise may be ok for stopping water getting into your ears but not noise just threw them out as they were useless

Ironically, the ear plug we sent you is the HIGHEST BLOCKING EAR PLUG IN THE WORLD, but it has to be prepared and inserted correctly.
If you can retrieve them, then follow these instructions and you will be 'shocked' at how well they block out.
1. The ear plugs broke up when trying to get them out of my ear.
The ear plug was not as good as the plug I was using previously.

I'm not sure how you managed to break apart the ear plugs. That is not easy to do.
Being soft and moldable, it is wise when removing, to simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb and index finger and gently pull down and out.
Please be alert and not careless or in a great rush when removing the ear plug.

Hated them
They fell right out of my ears since 'play doh' doesn't expand. There was no way to get the right size. How does anyone keep them in???? They smelled awful too. One star for fast shipping, and I couldn't save without selecting stars

With the difficulty that you encountered, why didn't you contact our office to learn how to prepare and insert this magnificent ear plug???????
Along with your order, we sent you an easy to understand, instruction card. Had you read it, you would have had wonderful results!
This wonderful ear plug is made from Pure Beeswax, and after simply working or kneading it between your fingers for 20 seconds, it is simple to pinch off and create the PERFECT SIZE for your ear canal. Plus, the Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly tacky so that it easily stays securely in the ear canal.

Theses earplugs leave a residue in your ear.
These earplugs are not what I expected. I thought they were natural. They are blue, which appears to be some kind of dye. They also fall apart. I have blue residue and parts of the earplugs left in my ear and on my fingers. I stopped using them for this reason. Would not recommend them to anyone.

With (almost everyone) so appreciative, and rating us with 5 stars, this has been an unusual 2 days with with 2 inapproprite reviews of this fine ear plug. It appears in your case and the other, that each customer did not read or understand how to correctly prepare and insert the ear plugs.
Betty, what is more natural than BEESWAX? Yes, the blue color is vegetable based food coloring and if the ear plug is not (kneaded thoroughly) between one's fingers, it can leave a small residue.
The ear plugs cannot fall apart easily for they are held together well with high density very strong cotton fibers.
