Dear Abby: Being an honorable company that practices the 'Golden Rule', we invite all comments so that any new viewer to our website can read various opinions about us and our ear plug. We will not speak negatively about our competitor's products, for we let our ear plug do the talking for us. Abby, we put Pure Lanolin into our ear plugs so that they will be soft, moldable and form to each person's ear canal when inserting, but we clearly ask the customer on the card that accompanies each order, to "work or knead" the ear plugs for 15 seconds just prior to insertion to disburse the Lanolin throughout the ear plug. We use Lanolin because it is nurturing to human skin. Please do not give up on this fine ear plug. Be sure to knead it for at least 15 seconds and then you will see that the Lanolin is more disbursed. Dear Libidi: It is very very rare, but on occasion, a customer will either push the ear plug into their ear canal (way too far) or they will pinch off so much ear plug material and insert (way too small) a piece that it becomes difficult to remove. We try to be very clear with a web page that instructs the customer "To Insert & Remove" and with an instruction card that comes with each order. This fine ear plug is meant to be flattened against the ear opening and not pushed so far into the canal that it becomes difficult to remove. When flattened against the ear opening, it will (seal) the ear, block out (more sound) than any other ear plug can and it will also (seal out water) 100%. Libidi, this is truly a safe and superior ear plug but, should you insert our ear plug again, please just flatten it against your ear opening (until you feel the ear plug seal). Should you not want to re-insert our ear plug, then be sure to return it to us for a refund. We are an honorable company and we guarantee your complete satisfaction. Dear Des: We feel that it is important to set the record straight here and correct the miscommunication! We strive at all times to give our customers the best in customer service! We received your online order of 2 pairs from Tasmania, Australia on June 3rd.; and we shipped it out to you the (very same June 3rd. day) as the USPS tracking number has confirmed. The first time that we heard from you regarding non-receipt of your order was by e-mail on June 25th, and we replied back to you via e-mail on the very same day, June 25th., telling you that your order was shipped by post (mail) on June 3rd. and if it hadn't already arrived, that it will soon. Our tracking number confirmed our shipment and we felt that 3 weeks to Tasmania via the post, though a bit longer than usual, would most likely arrive any day. The next time we heard from you is today July 8th, whereby you are again reporting non-receipt and (unfairly) faulting us for not communicating with you sufficiently. Des, we feel that nothing could be further from the truth. Des, it's been just over 4 weeks from the time of shipment from the United States, and even though you are in Australia, I too feel that you should have received your order by now. I will be phoning you in Australia at the phone number you provided and also writing you again to verify that the address you provided was correct. If the address you furnished is correct, then we will issue you an immediate refund. Should the original shipment finally find its way to you, you are welcome to keep it and use it well with our blessings. If you provided us an incorrect address, then it is quite possible that the shipment will someday be returned to us. Dear Dawn: It is obvious that our ear plug is too large for your ear canals. Most woman and all children do not insert the whole ear plug. Dawn, please pinch off about 1/3rd and insert a smaller ear plug. Being all natural and soft & moldable, when you create the correct size, you will find this ear plug especially comfortable to wear all day or all night; and when you experience how much sound is blocked out; you'll be quite surprised and grateful that you ordered this remarkable ear plug. As so rare as this is; to have a customer push the ear plug so deep into the ear and have it be so difficult to remove, means that we should consider including a video on our website showing how to insert and remove this fine ear plug. We are an honest company that invites and publishes ALL reviews (whether they be positive or negative) for we want our customers to know as much as possible about our fine ear plugs and make an informed decision based on all the reviews. I've checked all our incoming phone messages and all our incoming e-mails and not one was from you concerning the delivery or the product or quality as well. We encourage every customer to communicate with us, for our soft and moldable BEESWAX ear plug is different and far superior to the standard foam ear plugs. Regarding delivery, I've learned through the tracking number that your order took 5 business days to reach you. Our website informs the customer that the average is 4-7 business days. Regarding the product, This is Pure Natural Beeswax and not parafin based wax. Regarding the preparation: just before insertion, each ear plug must be kneaded between one's fingers for at least 15 seconds to make the ear plug soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. When the ear plug is sufficiently kneaded, it does not leave a blue residue; yet having said that, the residue, if any, is Lanolin & the blue color is the food coloring and will dissipate by the second wearing anyway. Dear Martina: We know exactly why you were able to hear so much. It was because you inserted the ear plug (much too gently) and it did not (seal) the ear canal and block out like it is designed to. Martina, even tho it is very simple to prepare and insert this ultra-high blocking ear plug, we always include an instruction card with every order. Martina, your success is important to us. That is why we make this fine ear plug from Beeswax, the best most costly sound suppressing material there is. Please follow the following instructions or simply call us at the office and we will be happy to walk you through inserting this wonderful ear plug. Just remove from the plastic box and just prior to insertion take (one) ear plug and work or knead it between your fingers or hands for about 20 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Then using the tip of your index finger, push a bit firmly and flatten the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear opening (UNTIL YOU FEEL THE EAR PLUG SEAL THE EAR). If it doesn't seal, it won't block out much. Now take the other ear plug and prepare it and insert it the exact same way. It is protruding out too far from your ear and your hair is getting involved with the ear plug.
