I bought these earplugs because I have menieres disease which includes hearing loss and extreme nose sensitivity. I take spin classes which I love, but the music is so loud that it hurts my ears, even with Flents foam plugs. These work great as long as you get a really good seal all around. I am having trouble doing that. Maybe because I get so sweaty? Spin is a tough workout. I will continue to try to get them to fit right, since the one time I did, they worked wonderfully. These are my last hope before I am forced to quit spin due to the noise level. Quick shipping was excellent!

For you attention
I have tried the ear plugs a few times and different ways of inserting them. I can still hear, speaking and (snoring) they just don't seem to block out the sound.
I have followed the directions very carefully, and really sealed the surround but to no avail. I even tried making them pointy and then inserting them and filling it in, but it still didn't work and it hurts my ear canal to do that..... any suggestions???
Thanks. We are going on holiday soon and was looking forward to using them.

Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsSep 4, 2013
Dear Denise:
If you have pushed and flattened the soft and moldable ear plugs in and against your ear opening (until it sealed the ears), then you will have inserted the highest blocking ear plug in existence, and it should be blocking out significantly; but if the ear plugs are not sealing the ear completely, then they will allow in too much sound. Be sure to contact our office, we'll help you get it perfectly.

Was pleased however, recently dissapointed!
I have bought and received a few earplugs and really love the product, however recently I received a large pack and I felt they were poor quality. I live in scotand so they are dispatched and received in a reasonable time. The packet was smashed, which is probably to be expected, however the earplugs were greasy and old looking in smell and colour. A grease stain had leaked from the plugs and stained the packaging, this was for both orders. The grease proof paper surrounding the product was also affected and it looked old and stained. The recent plugs are no where near as good as my prevous orders. I used them and they left alt of residue in my ears. I have emailed on many occasions and now I am not getting any response, I am very dissapointed as I do rate the product and am a loyal customer. I would have thought they would re send my order as a good will gesture.
Thank you

Not worth the money
My cheap silicone ones are better
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsAug 27, 2013
Dear Asa:
There is a huge difference between our soft and moldable 'beeswax' ear plug and a firmer silicone ear plug that is widely recognized for popping out and letting in too much sound. Asa, to experience the superior performance of our ear plug, you must follow (exactly), the preparation and insertion directions below, and you will then see why all the testimonials on our website page are true and accurate.
1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat, long or narrow; just follow the next step.
2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY & FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a *GOOD SEAL*) If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will seal well.
3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you will notice a huge improvement.
4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out.
Asa, we care about our customers and we make sure that they are successful with our magnificent ear plug, so please contact us by phone at 541-779-0130 or e-mail [email protected] if you have any questions or problems and definitely give our fine moldable ear plug, “A Fair Test”.

It is not very comfortable but it blocks sound to some extent.
It is not very comfortable but it blocks sound to some extent.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsAug 27, 2013
Dear Niloofar:
You comment is surprising, because our (soft and moldable) ear plug is well known throughout the world as both the (highest blocking) and the (most comfortable) ear plug in existence.
Niloofar, with our ear plug, one just doesn't take it out of the box and insert it; for just prior to insertion, you have to work or knead each each ear plug between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft and moldable. Then, you push the ear plug against your ear opening until it seals the ear and be surprised at the silence.
Please follow the above instructions and contact us at 541-779-0130, if you have any questions or difficulty. Niloofar, we care about your success with our fine ear plug!

Great Product cannot fault but Terrible delivery time
I had to wait 2 weeks as postage had an error as was the last order as well. This needs to be rectified on the site. the product is great and I would not hesitate in ordering again for this alone.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsAug 11, 2013
Dear Nora:
Thank you for appreciating our fine ear plug, and our sincerest apology on the long delivery time. Tho your situation was unusual, with average delivery time of about 4-5 days, we are in the process of shifting from the USPS to the courier UPS.
It will even get better.
Kindest regards

Still allows water in after awhile
Great response and shipping time from company. Thought they were the best ear plugs at first as when I first put them in my ear the seal was very tight and no water at all. However, after swimming for awhile they pulled out a bit from my ear due to the water and allowed water into ear. Not very much, but similar to the ones I replaced them with that cost much less than these. If the seal would remain throughout the workout, they would be great. I have used them now several times and I get the same result. Great at first and then the seal loosens just a bit to allow a little water in, not a lot but no longer water tight. Overall, not a huge advantage over other brands & types for the additional cost involved.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsAug 10, 2013
Dear Tim:
After first kneading them between your fingers to soften them and make them moldable, then push FIRMLY & FLATTEN the ear plug against the ear opening (until you feel a good seal. Keep your finger pressed against the ear plug with slight pressure for a few seconds until it seals well and stays there.
Keep us informed as to your experiences.
Thank you

They're ok, if somewhat overpriced andsome of the soft wax stays in your ear when you remove them.
I bought them for my girlfriend to block out my snoring. They're better than some earplugs, but not the best either of us have used and they are on the expensive side. We both found that they leave quite a lot of the blue wax residue in the ear after removing them.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsAug 4, 2013
Dear Patrick:
After the first time wearing, there sometimes is left a small amount of residue; which is the pure Lanolin; but that will dissipate by the second wearing.
Patrick, after first kneading them sufficiently to make them soft, be sure to push them firmly in and against the ear opening until you get a good seal.
Then listen to the silence, and you'll realize why all our testimonials are accurate and true.
Kindest regards

Regarding value: each pair can be sworn from 35-60 times or more. This is undoubtedly the best value in an ear plug.
