Dear Casey: Our Mighty Plugs Beeswax ear plugs will block out MUCH MORE SOUND than the FOAM Hearos ear plugs; but our ear plug needs to be inserted correctly to SEAL the ear canal. Once SEALED, you will immediately notice the SILENCE and you will be grateful that you took the time to write us. All the reviews are 100% legitimate. This ear plug works. Just prior to insertion (work) or (knead) ONE ear plug somewhat vigorously through your fingers for 15 seconds to make it (soft), (moldable) and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Lanolin makes the ear plug (slightly tacky) so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. 2. Then using your index finger, push (Firmly) and (Flatten) the ear plug (IN) and (AGAINST) your ear canal (until you feel it SEAL). IMPORTANT : If it doesn't seal immediately, just keep your finger pressed against the ear plug with slight pressure for a few more seconds and it will warm and seal the ear canal completely. 3. Dear John: On the contrary! Not only will this soft and moldable ear plug block out snoring, but it blocks out gunfire and loud thunder as well. Much louder than snoring sounds. Ironically, just a few hours earlier we received a similar report from another customer. John, the issue isn't the ear plug's ability to block out the snoring, it is being able to insert the ear plug sufficiently so that it (SEALS) the ear canal. Once sealed, you'll know it, for you'll hear SILENCE. John, I will explain in the following paragraphs how to insert the ear plug so that it will block out MUCH. Please follow my instructions. You might just be 'shocked'! 1. Dear Jane: We sent you a REAL ultra-high blocking ear plug! One that WORKS! Our ear plug is not Foam or Plasticine (whatever plasticine is)????? Being that it is made from Beeswax; just prior to insertion, one needs to (work or knead) the ear plug between their fingers or hands for 15 seconds to make it soft and moldable. Then you just push and flatten the ear plug against your ear opening (until you feel it seal) the ear canal. Now listen to nothing but (silence). That's it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jane, please read the instruction card that came with you order or call us and we will walk you through preparing and inserting this magnificent ear plug. It is really very simple. Dear Sharon: 99.9999% of our customers insert the ear plug correctly to where it literally (seals) the ear canal. Those are the customers that are so grateful and rate us with 4-5 stars. You said that you "followed the instructions" but that you felt that the ear plug was "too soft and sticky". Sharon, the ear plug needs to be (slightly) sticky or tacky, so that it will stay securely in the ear canal and BLOCK OUT MUCH. Please do not give up on this fine ultra-high blocking ear plug. O.K., Now here comes the GOOD NEWS! This fine ear plug will (((easily))) cancel and block out high frequencies and whistling. It is obvious to us that you have not inserted the ear plug correctly enough for it to (SEAL) the ear canal. Please follow the instruction below (exactly), and you will be very pleased with the result: 1. Just as you are about to insert it, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat , long or narrow; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug FIRMLY, & FLATTEN it, (IN and AGAINST) your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL). IMPORTANT: If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will seal well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals; now listen; you’ll hear very little or more likely no sound at all. It even gets better each time you wear them. 4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out. Pam, please keep us informed, your comfort and success is important to us. Dear J. Taylor: We choose to be an honorable company by inviting (all) comments, for we want everyone to know that we are not (selectively) choosing the best reviews to sell our product. We've chosen this policy for we know that we have done our best and created a magnificent ear plug. Since we do not control any or all of the reviews, potential customers can see that 99.999% overwhelmingly (love) our ear plug. We are aware that we cannot please (everyone), and yet we know from all the feedback, that our soft and moldable earplug is simple and pleasing to (almost) everyone; and yet it can be confusing to the few. We enclose with each order, an instruction card for (preparing) and (inserting) this fine ultra-high blocking ear plug. Sadly, not everyone reads the card, and many in their haste and long overdue (need) for a real ear plug, simply rush to insert the ear plug with out reading the card and preparing the ear plug first as it describes. J. Taylor, the ingredients are all natural, Beeswax, Lanolin, Cotton; and they need to be assimilated or combined by simply (working or kneading) through one's fingers for at least 15 seconds before inserting them. The kneading disburses all the ingredients so that they do not feel sticky, and being (soft and moldable), they easily conform to the ear, seal it and block out MUCH. Most people overwhelmingly LOVE the smell of beeswax, yet we accept that you do not appreciate the scent of beeswax.
