The product arrived quickly and I immediately gave it a try... actually several tries. While the earplugs did indeed eliminate about 90% of the noise (snoring sounds), I just couldn't get them to be comfortable enough to allow me to get much sleep while wearing them. Maybe my ears are just sensitive to pressure while being plugged up for hours at a time. I tried several different amounts and placements (shallow Vs deep) of material during several nights, but never found the right combination to be comfortable. After over a week of trying I gave up and just went back to sleeping in the other bedroom. :-(

Dear Ralph:
Ironically, our ultra-high blocking Beeswax ear plug becomes so soft and moldable that it is widely known for being (especially comfortable) to wear (all night) long.
Ralph, possibly your ear canals are a bit smaller.
Ralph, simply pinch off about 1/3rd and insert the remaining 2/3rds and let me know how that worked for you. 1-800-226-1884
We will help you sleep in the same bedroom yet!
Sincerely

i expected more
The earplugs were ok but I really thought they would drown out all the background noises which they did not.. I really would love to find a ear plug that does that!

Dear Sharon:
You found the best but haven't realized it quite yet!
Here's how to block out more.
Be sure to insert the softened moldable ear plug a bit more firmly (in and against) your ear opening (until you feel it SEAL)!
Feel free to contact us by phone for live phone insertion help.

The earplugs were OK but not as good as I had hoped.
I have tried the earplugs on multiple occasions. I made sure I rolled them between my fingers long enough to make them malleable. However, they never performed as well as I had hoped to cancel out the noise. I will not purchase them again.

Dear Judith:
We understand exactly what you are experiencing. What you have described is what happens when the ear plug has not sealed completely in your ear. To block out the sound completely you can review the step-by-step instructions on our website.

Didn't meet my expectations.
I was disappointed that the earplugs didn't block out my husbands snoring completely. Along with that the earlplugs left a stain on my pillow case.
It did, however, wash out. But, bought two pair and will try the second pair
and hopefully be pleased with the results. I hate to give a bad review, but I'm just being honest.

Dear Lenora:
I too wear this exact ear plug every night, to block out my husband's snoring, and this ear plug not only works wonderfully, but it is the HIGHEST BLOCKING (most sound suppressing) ear plug in existence, and if you prepare and insert it correctly, It will FAR EXCEED YOUR EXPECTATIONS; and you will then see why all the testimonials on our website are true and accurate.
Please follow the steps below for correctly (preparing & inserting).
Note! Many women with smaller ear canals do not insert the whole ear plug; for just after they have kneaded the ear plug to make it soft and moldable, they pinch off at least (a third), and insert a smaller ear plug that fits their ear canal better, is more comfortable, seals easier and blocks out better. This can make a big difference, yet you do want to insert enough ear plug material to be able to block out well.
1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat, long or narrow; just follow the next step. If you are going to pinch off to make a smaller ear plug, then now is the time.
2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY & FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will seal well.
3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you will notice a big improvement.
4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out.
Regarding the blue color, the ear plug wasn't pushed and flattened against the ear opening firmly enough for it could never make contact with the pillow. The blue will dissipate after one wearing.
Lenora, you have the VERY BEST EAR PLUG MADE! Your success is important to us.
Please feel free to contact us for any help.
Most sincerely

I can hear my fingers snap and water dripping with earplugs in
I was hopeful that they would be better. They are comfortable and seal good. However, they don't block out much sound. I can hear my fingers snap and water dripping with earplugs in. Needless to say that my husbands snoring still keeps me awake at night.

These work ok
I ordered these ear plugs after reading other reviews. I am fairly happy but they do not block out all noise as I had wished and hoped. They cut about 60 to 70% but I can still hear him snoring. However, it does make it easier to sleep. Don't really like the fact they are like blue play dough to put in your ears.
Better than my original ear plugs by far.

Good noise reduction but one issue
These ear plugs are very comfortable and do block out a good deal of noise. I only have one issue with them that prevents me from using them. When I remove the plugs my ears look like someone stuck a pool cue in my ear as they leave behind a blue residue that needs to be cleaned out with paper towel. I don't get that with my cheap foam ones. If that issue did not exist I would use them all the time for riding my motorcycle. On a side note I do use them for my son when we ride since I can break them apart and make them smaller to fit his ear.

Very comfortable earplugs
Yes they are very comfy and they are the best in noise reduction but they stick to my hair and it is difficult to disentangle. I've had to cut it out on occasion. Has anyone else had this problem? It's like getting putty caught in your hair.
