Oh Denise! If you didn't insert the ear plug sufficiently to SEAL the ear canal, then it won't work!!!! Period!!! From your reported experience, (I'm certain) that you didn't allow the ear plug to SEAL your ear canal. If it sealed, you would have rated the ear plug at 5 STARS and would have written a glowing review. Denise, we are with you all the way with our ear plug. Dear Gerald: Your order with a USPS tracking number was (confirmed) delivered to the address you provided to us, and it was given to a person inside your address at 1:31pm on March 21st. I contacted your local post office and was assured by the postmaster that your package was verified as delivered to the correct address for they knew the inhabitants. Under the Federal Postal Laws, it was correctly verified and recorded by the postman at 1:31 pm. We suggest that you inquire with others at your address, for (we are certain) that one of the residents at your residence surely received your ear plug order. Gerald, please keep us informed. Dear Ashleigh: I'm surprised that you didn't contact us earlier by e-mail or phone. Your online order arrived March 9th and was shipped out via the (postal service) from here in Oregon, USA on March 10th. to your address in Manitoba, Canada. It should have arrived over 2 weeks ago. Ashleigh, you rated us with ONE star, but in reality our shipping dept. did a good job and deserved 5 stars for shipping your order within 8 hours of receiving it. One star may be appropriate for the (postal service). I will contact Canada Post in the morning to see if we can locate the shipment. Dear Kerry: Yes, they are soft and mouldable, but they are held together very well. To pull them apart, one would have to pinch them very very hard and almost purposely pull them apart. How deep did you push the ear plugs in your ear???? One is suppose to just (push and flatten) the ear plug (IN and AGAINST) the ear opening (until you feel the ear plug seal). Kerry, don't be scared and don't be so rough with the ear plug, just push it and flatten it against your ear opening until you feel the ear plug seal. Then be amazed at the amount of sound that's being blocked out. Kerry, we all wear the same exact ear plug, and it works wonderfully. "Give it a go again" It's worth it!!!!!! Dear Jerry: The issue isn't poor customer service! The issue is poor postal service! Your order came in online the evening of the 18th and was taken to the post office the morning of the 19th. The problem is our POOR Performing employees at our MEDFORD, OREGON POST OFFICE ! Jerry, we are furious with our local post office for this is the second time in 2 weeks where a customer from Bismark, (ND) North Dakota had their Priority Mail order sent first to Baltimore, (MD) Maryland and then sent back to Bismark, ND. The post office (will not) take responsibility for their errors, but (in the interest of Goodwill) we will take responsibility for their error. We are refunding you the additional cost that you paid for (Priority Mail). On behalf of our Medford, Oregon Post Office, we extend to you our sincerest apology. Dear Tammie: Just the opposite! They're WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL! All of the gals in the office have long hair and they wear them successfully every night with no hair issue! The reason your hair got involved with the ear plug is because you didn't insert the ear plug (firmly enough) IN and AGAINST your ear opening, and is was protruding out too far. Now if your ear canals are small and you feel that the ear plug is too large for your ear canal, you can easily remove a small amount of the plug material and insert a smaller ear plug that fits your ear better.
