Dear Jerry: Our ear plug MUST ( SEAL ) THE EAR CANAL TO BLOCK OUT MUCH!!!!!! Jerry, if you don't insert our soft and moldable Beeswax ear plug into your ear canal to where is SEALS the ear canal, then it will not block out all the snoring sound that it is capable of. We enclosed an instruction card with your order, as we do with all orders; and we have a video on the website that demonstrates how to prepare, insert and remove this magnificent ear plug. When you insert our ear plug ( correctly ), it will block out 100% more sound then the foam ear plugs. Dear Susan: This superior ultra high blocking ear plug will only work well when it is inserted correctly and sealing the ear. Please follow these instructions exactly and you will be shocked at how much sound is being blocked out. PLEASE follow the below instructions EXACTLY! 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn’t matter what shape it is; round, flat , long or narrow; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug FIRMLY, & FLATTEN it, (IN and AGAINST) your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL).. IMPORTANT: If it doesn’t seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will seal well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals; now listen; you’ll hear very little or most likely no sound at all. It even gets better each time you wear them. 4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out. Dear Elizabeth: If you inserted the ear plugs without allowing them to (SEAL) the ear canal; then they will not block out as much sound as they are capable of. Once the ear plug has been kneaded for 15-20 seconds to make it (soft and moldable), then push it a bit firmly IN and AGAINST your ear opening until the ear plug (SEALS) the ear. Dear Sue: Our mouldable Beeswax ear plug is a "wonderful value" and it brings much satisfaction to over 5 million day to day users; yet we are realistic enough to know that we can't please everyone. I can tell that you are tired and if I was at your home I would insert this ultra-high blocking ear plug in your ear myself. Sue, no one made fun of you. We only stated a fact that we all wear them nightly for the same reason and we know how efficiently they work. They simply do the job and do it well! Sue, our ear plug should never "fall out" once it is inserted and sealing the ear, because the Lanolin in the ear plug makes it a bit tacky to stay securely in the ear canal and really block out. It works! Sue, don't give up on our ear plug for you will not find any other ear plug in the world that will block out nearly as much sound as ours. Most sincerely Mary-customer service
