i've used the ear plugs a few times. they reduce the noise, but I don’t know how well they work compared to other products, because I haven’t used any other products. They are easy to use and provide a good seal in the ear. I use them if I go on a ride for more than 20 minutes.

Dear Baron:
Thank you and yes indeed, they surely do reduce the noise. Please, if you can try other ear plugs to compare and they send in another review. We have sent you (by far) the Highest Blocking, Most Comfortable Ear Plug in the World. We look forward to your next review.
Thank you

Great earplugs but agonisingly slow postage
Earplugs work better than the silicone ones I have relied on in the past. Bit sticky but you get used to that quickly. Ears don't get as sweaty and earplugs don't lose their "suction" during the night. Definitely superior to anything I have tried before and I've tried them all! Had a problem with my parcel going missing so didn't receive it for over a month which was a bit disappointing.

Tacky but usefull
I was a little considered with how tacky the product was. They were noise reducing but I was concerned a residue would be left in my ear. Not looking to get a good night sleep at the possible cost of having to go to an ENT.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsJul 28, 2014
Dear Carol:
Just prior top insertion, work or knead the ear plugs between your fingers for 15 seconds to make them soft, moldable and to disburse the pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. If there is any small amount of residue, it will dissipate after the first time wearing, for the body absorbs Lanolin. The ear plug needs to be a bit tacky so that it will stay securely in the ear and do what it does best: Block out!!
Kindest regards

What did you say?
I have a small problem really sealing off my hearing, with these plugs, as I cant get them to compact into my ears, but maybe I am not using them correctly so I cant say that they dont do the job.
Maybe with practice I will work them out.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsJul 20, 2014
Dear David:
I too wear this exact ear plug every night and it works wonderfully. It is the HIGHEST BLOCKING (most sound suppressing) ear plug in existence; but to experience the superior performance, you must follow (exactly), the preparation and insertion directions below; and you will then see why all the testimonials on our website page are true and accurate. Please follow the steps below for correctly (preparing & inserting)and give this fine ear plug a chance to prove how superior it is.
1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat , long or narrow; just follow the next step. If you are going to pinch off to make a smaller ear plug, then now is the time.
2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY & FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will seal well.
3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you will notice a big improvement.
4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out.
David, please prepare and insert this fine ear plug as I described above and you'll be amazed haw well it seals and how much it blocks out.
If you need guidance on inserting then feel free to call the office, for we all wear them and can walk you through. 1-800-226-1884

Good, but not quite there.
The earplugs are probably better than most I have tried, but my wife's snoring still wakes me. Admittedly she is a LOUD snorer!
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsJul 21, 2014
Dear Eddie:
If you want to block out more sound and not hear anything, then simply push the ear plug (with a bit more pressure) in and against your ear opening (until you feel the ear plug SEAL the ear). Then listen to the silence. If you can still hear her, it would be barely if at all.

I can't hear you
These earplugs are easy to mold and get into and out of your ear. The're soft and flexible. Unfortunatley they just don't block out enough noise. They could do a better job. They just don't get my wife's snoring to a level I can deal with. Too bad but they are better than most
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsJul 11, 2014
Dear Scott:
When you insert this ultra-high blocking ear plug ((correctly)), you will write us again and be so grateful.
Please, just after kneading the ear plug to make it soft and moldable; use the tip of your index finger and push the ear plug with slight pressure, IN & AGAINST your ear opening (UNTIL YOU FEEL THE EAR PLUG SEAL).
When it is sealed, you'll surely know it; for you'll experience (silence)!
Scott your success is important to us. Please feel free (if you need), to phone us at 1-800-226-1884 and we will be happy to walk you through inserting this fine ear plug. We all wear them successfully for the same reason as you.

Decent
I'm a VERY light sleeper and these ear plugs do block out some noise, not all. I have to really cram/mold them to my ear to block out some sound and they hurt my ears a little bit. For now these will do.

Good but feel funny
It feels like silly putty in my ears which feels strange and I can still hear some snoring sounds...
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsJul 7, 2014
Dear Linda:
Our fine ear plug is made from Beeswax and it is soft and moldable. I honestly have never put "silly putty" in my ears, so I can't quite relate to the feeling.
I too wear this magnificent ear plug nightly, so here are some good tips to help you.
After first kneading it to make it soft and moldable, pinch off about 1/3rd and insert just 2/3rds of an ear plug. Most women have smaller ear openings and require a smaller ear plug.
Now, push and flatten the ear plug a bit firmly IN and AGAINST your ear opening (UNTIL YOU FEEL IT SEAL). Sealing is so important! Now listen to the silence.
It most likely blocked all the snoring out now!!! Wearing an ear plug is often a new experience for many, and now that you've inserted a smaller ear plug, you will find it more comfortable. Be patient for a day or two to get use to wearing an ear plug and allow this superior ear plug to do what it does best; BLOCKING OUT SOUND!!!
Linda, please feel free to phone us for any help and we will walk you through inserting this magnificent ear plug right on the phone.
