Poor packing resulted in unusable plugs.
Spent $40 on the earplugs. They mail them out in a flimsy envelope. Got the package and the plastic box that holds all the plugs was shattered and pieces of plastic "shrapnel" were embedded in most of the ear plugs. Contacted their customer service department (what a joke). They told me I had to pay to send the crushed package back before they could do anything about it. When I commented of the inevitability of the next package arriving in the same condition unless they ship it in a protective box, they basically scoffed at the suggestion. How much more will it cost them to use a small box instead of a soft envelope? 10 cents maybe? Isn't a $40 order worth an extra 10 cents? Imagine how much profit they are making on a couple of dozen pieces of wax. At most it probably costs them $1 for the wax with $39 going into their pockets. Talk about cheaping out!

Worse earplugs ever!
I really needed some better earplugs and read that these were the best. They are the WORSE ones I ever tried!
I went back to the others I had and they work SO much better.

Biggest waste of money ever.
These earplugs are a joke. They are no better than the clear ones I have gotten at Wal-Mart at a much better price. I will try to send them back for full refund.

We have sent you a (REAL) ULTRA-HIGH BLOCKING EAR PLUG, but you obviously haven't figured out how to insert it.
Kay, please follow these instructions: You must follow (exactly), the preparation and insertion directions below, and you will then see why almost all the testimonials on our website, and through Trustpilot are so positive.
1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn’t matter what shape it is; round, flat , long or narrow; just follow the next step.
2. Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug FIRMLY, & FLATTEN it, (IN and AGAINST) your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL).
IMPORTANT: If it doesn’t seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will seal well.
3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals; now listen; you’ll hear very little or most likely no sound at all. It even gets better each time you wear them.
4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out.

Don't bother. These supposedly super earplugs are no better than the cheap foam earplugs that are a fraction of the cost. Waste of money.

It would be (no better) than the "cheap foam" ear plugs.
Our ultra-high blocking ear plugs are "SUPER". Now follow these insertion instructions below and you'll be SHOCKED!
After first kneading them between your fingers for 10-15 seconds to make them (soft and moldable); then take one ear plug; and with the tip of your index finger, push it a bit firmly IN and AGAINST your ear opening UNTIL YOU FEEL THE EAR PLUG ((SEAL)) THE EAR.
If it doesn't seal immediately, then just keep your finger pressed against it for a few more seconds and it will seal just fine.

Good product, bad customer service.
I received my large ($39.95) order of earplugs in its plastic box. Both the hinge pins on the box had broken off, so the top will not stay on. When I complained, the company wanted to charge me for another box. I did not take their offer.

That is not correct! Without having to show proof, we will always replace a broken or cracked plastic box FOR FREE, but we charge just a small postage charge to resend.
William, often customers ask us for free boxes, whether the box is cracked or not.

I will explain below how to get the ear plug to work:
As on the instruction card that came with your order and the video that is on our website; you must first knead the ear plug between your fingers for 10 seconds to make it (soft & moldable).
Then with the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug (a bit firmly) IN and AGAINST your ear opening UNTIL YOU FEEL IT (SEAL) the ear. If it doesn't seal immediately, just keep your finger pressed against it for a few more seconds and it will surely seal.
Do the other ear the same way and with both ears sealed, (you'll be shocked)! Now listen to the (silence)..
