Dear Durand: That's a easy fix! Durand, our ear plug is made from pure natural Beeswax. Just prior to insertion, take (one ear plug at a time), and be sure to (work or knead) the ear plug between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it (soft and moldable). Then do the same with the other ear plug. Then, with the tip of your index finger, push a bit more (firmly) then before, in and against your ear opening (until you feel the ear plug (SEAL) and stay sealed. Keep your finger pressed against the ear plug for a few seconds and it will seal well. Once SEALED, you'll have the highest blocking ear plug in the world, blocking out a great amount of sound. After first working or kneading the ear plugs through you fingers to make them soft and moldable; then use the tip of your index finger and push the ear plug a bit ((more)) FIRMLY then before, (IN & AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL). IMPORTANT: If it doesn’t SEAL immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds, and it will SEAL well and really block out sound. Dear Renee: I wear them and I know exactly what transpired! The ear plugs are TOO LARGE for your ear canal. First, take one ear plug and knead it through your fingers or hands for 15 seconds to make it (soft and moldable). Then pinch off about 1/3rd of the ear plug and with the tip of your index finger, push it a bit firmly (in and against ) your ear opening (until you feel the ear plugs SEAL). Dear Chai Li: That's and EASY FIX! I know exactly why they aren't working for you. When you said that they stuck to your hair, I knew immediately that you didn't push the ear plug into your ear canal (deep enough). The ear plug was "protruding" out too far from your ear and getting involved with your hair. Chai, it has to SEAL the ear canal to block out much. Please insert our ear plugs deeper and so that they can SEAL the ear canal. After first (kneading) them between your fingers to make them (soft and moldable), then take your index finger and push the softened ear plug a bit more firmly (in and against) your ear opening (until you feel the ear plug SEAL the ear canal.
