At first i hated them bc they were hard to mold to my ears it still sticks to my hair, but if i fiddle with it long enough it will block out some noise not the best but making due

I love these earplugs and have been ordering them for years. On occasion they would be a little on the hard side and once I had to return an order which they readily replaced with a better batch. I had this happen again recently but when I contacted them about it I was told that they are developing a new softer version and that they will send me a sample when they are done. Well, I'm glad that they are making them softer in general but my immediate need was that I have a batch that I can't use. I was hoping they could just replace them like they did before but now I'm on hold, waiting for these new softer models to be developed. The situation has left me without earplugs that I need very badly. I do like this company and I think they make a wonderful product. Even though I'm frusterated with them right now, I will probably continue to order from them in the future.

Dearest Brandie: This truly magnificent ear plug is always the same, but the weather is getting cooler in the northern hemisphere and the beeswax takes a bit longer to soften just prior to insertion. Your satisfaction is our (main goal) and there is no need for you to go through any necessary time and expense to return the present order. We are customizing for you from a new batch, an earplug that will be softer for you to knead, yet still, very well held together. I've tried them. They are fantastic!!!!! Thank you for your loyalty and patience Mary-customer service

Best earplugs I've ever used and the first three times I ordered, I was completely satisfied. BUT, the last order has fallen short of the company's high standard. They are not as soft and pliable and pop out of my ears during the night. What happened? Formula change?
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsNov 12, 2014
Dear Shelagh: Yes, we have heard from a few others that the ear plugs appear firmer than before. The reality is that the beeswax takes a bit longer to soften in the cooler weather. We are replacing your order at no charge with a special softer ear plug. There is no need for you to send back the order you have. Just use them again when the weather gets warmer. We appreciate your loyalty. Kindest regards Mary-customer service

Not any better at snoring/noise reduction that the cheap foam ones! Total disappointment. The material leaves a greasy film inside your ears. Seems like this product is nothing but play-doh!
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsOct 29, 2014
Oh Tami: Our Beeswax ear plug is 10 times better than Foam. It is the HIGHEST BLOCKING EAR PLUG IN THE WORLD. We will prove that to you!!! Please phone our office and we will show you how to prepare the ear plug just prior to insertion and we'll show you how to insert the ear plug so that you will NOT HEAR ANY SNORING AT ALL! 1-800-226-1884 Just prior to insertion, you have to knead our ear plug through your fingers for 15 seconds to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. You haven't done that and that is why you feel the Lanolin. Most sincerely Mary-customer service

I ordered 3 types. One pair (they were orange) was great for blocking more sound yet too big for my ears so they hurt after a while. The other foam ones (greyish) were no help at all. And the blue ones were stiff. Hard to work with and way too much material to use. I didn't like the material. So I'm back to my old ones for now. I won't order again. Yet the order was handled well. Everything came quickly. Etc.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsOct 22, 2014
Dear Selena: Regarding your experience: We do not make orange or greyish ear plugs, but we do make blue ear plugs made from Beeswax; and yes Beeswax arrives a bit firm and requires kneading before inserting. We enclosed an instruction card with your order that was important: It says that "just prior to insertion, one must work or knead the ear plugs between one's fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make the ear plug soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug" Secondly, it suggest that women should simply pinch off about 1/3rd of the ear plug and insert the remaining 2/3rds; for the ear plug is a bit too large for most women's ear canals. Selena, prepare this magnificent ear plug (sufficiently) for 15 seconds and then pinch off a small amount. Insert it by pushing and flattening the ear plug in and against your ear opening (until you feel it seal). Now be amazed at the silence. We've sent you the highest blocking ear plug in the world. Your satisfaction is important to us, so please feel free to call the office if you need any guidance or help. We will walk you through preparing and inserting. 1-800-226-1884 Most sincerely Mary-customer service

Like my original sentence above, your wax is about the same as wax you can purchase at your local drugstore. The only difference is, your wax cost a lot more. I'm glad I only purchased one set.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsOct 15, 2014
Dear David: Whoa! not even nearly the same. There are 2 (major differences) between our Beeswax Ear Plugs and the store bought Parafin wax. Beeswax is an (all natural) product that comes from the worker honeybee. It has a beautiful fragrance and has a beautiful amber color. Parafin is a byproduct of the petroleum refining process. It is colored and contains artificial fragrances. Secondly, our beeswax ear plug, when inserted correctly and sealing the ear canal is the HIGHEST BLOCKING EAR PLUG IN THE WORLD! Parafin wax ear plugs will hardly block out at best. David, insert our beeswax ear plugs again and allow them to seal your ears. Then feel free to write us and tell us how surprised you were at the amount of sound being blocked out. Most sincerely Mary-customer service

maybe for someone else but not for me
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsOct 11, 2014
Dear Paula: Being soft and moldable, we never ever hear of pain. I believe that the ear plug is too large for the size of your ear canal. Paula, just after kneading the ear plug between your fingers for 15 seconds to make it soft and moldable, then pinch off about 1/3rd and insert a smaller ear plug. I'll bet you'll feel the ear plug much more comfortable afterwards. Please feel free to amend your review afterwards. Most sincerely Mary-customer service
