Made my ears itch. They worked well, but made my ears hurt. I only use them when I am desperate for a good nights sleep.

I purchased these earplugs because my husband is a snorer and we're always looking for solutions that don't end up with us in separate bedrooms. When in place, these plugs block so much noise, I can hardly believe it. I can't hear the fan in the window four feet from the bed, and sometimes I don't hear the alarm clock. I can hear the snoring somewhat if I'm awake, but it doesn't seem to wake me up like it used to. My only reservation is that they are a bit uncomfortable, and cause some unwelcome pressure, sort of like flying in an airplane, but worse. I suppose it's a trade-off for the superior noise-blockage. I've started only putting one in (I sleep on my side, so I put it in the ear that's "up"), as it cuts down on the pressure feeling I get with both of them in.

These earplugs are great! They fit very snugly, and do not hurt when you lay on your side. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars: Though they are very snug, and block out much more than any other earplugs I've tried, they do not block out snoring. The ONLY reason I bought these, was to block out snoring. But, I have, and will continue to buy them again because they help more than anything else I've tried. Having said that, I've split one plug in 1/2, (using 1 plug for 2 ears) because that's all that I need (that's all that fits). If I used the entire earplug in one ear, maybe I wouldn't hear any snoring!!

Pretty great earplugs. The certainly do muffle the sound quite bit and remain lodged in my ears throughout the night. They do dry out after about a week and lose some of their tackiness, thus reducing their ability to stay lodged in your ears. Could we lower the price ever so slightly?

The ear plugs work really well as far as keeping noise out! I would say better than basic foam ear plugs. You just have to get used to molding them into your ear. They do make a nice tight fit. Cant be afraid to make them fit. I would recommend you try these. I work nights and sleep during the day and these have been a big help.
