The plugs block out noice effectively. However, they are somewhat sticky and I have swtched back to my old foam plugs.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsApr 17, 2015
Dear Annie:
Yes, thank you for writing us.
We too know how magnificent they are at blocking out sound, but the little bit of stickiness can easily be remedied by (kneading or working) the ear plugs through your fingers for at least 15 seconds before inserting them. That will disburse the pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug.
Now having said the above; to be effective, our ear plug needs to (seal) the ear canal and stay securely to block out much sound, so a slight bit of stickiness is important for the efficiency of this ear plug.
Kindest regards
Mary-customer service
P.S. Annie, foam doesn't block out hardly any sound, whereas Beeswax is the most efficient sound blocking ear plug material in the world, and it is completely compatible with skin. Lanolin nurtures skin.

they are ok but
I've been trying to find a great pair of ear plugs to keep my sanity due to my husband's sanity. When I saw reviews for these earplugs, I put away Macs and bought these. Some reviews did say it would cover snoring. um no. I guess they haven't met my husband lol
They do cover out loads of noise - birds, rain, some distant traffic. That's all good since I'm a light sleeper. As for snoring, I'm sorry I personally can't agree. Otherwise it is good for other things. Thank you.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsApr 13, 2015
Dear Sherri:
Snoring is common from both (sane) and (insane) husbands, and if you want to block him out completely, you'll have to insert the ear plug a bit firmer, to where it (seals) the ear canal completely.
Be sure to (knead or work) the ear plug through your fingers for at least 15 seconds before inserting, and then (push & flatten) the ear plug (IN & AGAINST) your ear opening until you feel it seal. If it doesn't seal immediately, then just keep your finger pressed against the ear plug with slight pressure for a few more seconds and it well surely seal. NOW LISTEN! It should be mostly silence or barely a slight snoring sound, if at all.

ear plugs
WORK FINE BUT DRY OUT TOO FAST, MAKING THEM VERY EXPENSIVE.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsApr 11, 2015
Dear Robert:
Oh yes! We know they work "fine". We too wear them!
Robert, the average wearer gets 35 to 40 wearings per pair or until the person's body absorbs all the Lanolin out of the ear plug. The Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug 'soft, mouldable' and slightly tacky so that it stays securely in the ear canal and ''blocks out much''.
Please reply back and tell us how many wearings you are getting per pair?
I ask that, because some customers think that the ear plug should last forever.
Robert, please feel free to keep in touch with me, I too wear them daily and nightly and I am only too happy to make sure you that are successful with this superior ear plug.

Not very impressed.
I thought these where to block out 100% of noise.Sorry but they are only a fraction better than the cheap foam plugs ive been useing.
I have problems sleeping because of sounds so wanted to give this a go.
I still can hear my husband snoring and the noises out the window
Also i have found that if i push these in a little further that a bit more sound blocks ,but unfortunatly my ears throb if i do so.
I was given a part refund to keep them as it wasnt worth the postage to return to the US from the other side of the world.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsApr 7, 2015
Dear Sparks:
I too wear these exact ear plugs every night to block out my husband’s snoring. They work wonderfully and they really are the HIGHEST BLOCKING ear plugs in existence; but to experience the superior performance, you must follow (exactly), the preparation and insertion directions below, and you will then see why all the testimonials on our website page are so positive.
Please Note! Many adults with smaller ear canals pinch off at least (a third), and insert a smaller ear plug that fits their ear canal better, is more comfortable, seals easier and blocks out better. This can make a big difference, yet you only make it smaller if it is too large and uncomfortable.
1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, mouldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and mouldable and ready to insert, it doesn’t matter what shape it is; round, flat , long or narrow; just follow the next step. If you are going to pinch off to make a smaller ear plug, then now is the time.
2. Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug FIRMLY, & FLATTEN it, (IN and AGAINST) your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL).
IMPORTANT: If it doesn’t seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will seal well.
3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals; now listen; you’ll hear very little or most likely no sound at all. It even gets better each time you wear them.
Sparks, we are with you all the way with this fine ear plug, so please keep us informed as to how your doing. Please give it another go, they're worth it!!!

Good, but needs improvement
These were good at blocking out the sound and I'm sure that the material you use is responsible for that, but it's like shoving play-do in your ear and it leaves little blue pieces in, on and around your ear. I don't care for that.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsMar 30, 2015
Dear Meagan:
Oh Yes, we know how wonderfully it blocks out sound, for we all wear them too; but the reason it left some residue in your outer ear is because you didn't (knead or work) the ear plugs between your fingers sufficiently (beforehand).
Our magnificent ultra-high blocking ear plug is made mainly from Beeswax, and it has Pure Lanolin in it as well.
IMPORTANT NOTE:Just prior to insertion, one must (work or knead) the ear plug between one's fingers for at least 15 seconds to make it (soft and mouldable), and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. When you prepare the ear plug that way, there will never be any residue left behind.

ear plugs
takes too long to soften into shape - usually half asleep when need it, and don't want to completely wake up to do it!
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsMar 25, 2015
Dear Customer:
Yes, we know that some customers have very little strength in their fingers and hands and for those customers we have a softer version of our ear plug. Please remember that once they are softened, one does not need to form then into any shape. Just (push and flatten) the softened ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear opening until you feel the ear plug (seal) the ear.
Just contact the office and we will exchange those for you for a softer beeswax ear plug.
Kindest regards

Review of earplugs
I have brought these ear plugs for the past 3 years and have been very pleased with them unfortunately my last 2 orders have been disappointing as the make up of them seems to have changed now they become very soft and have broken off in my ear has anyone else found this problem
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsMar 18, 2015
Dear John:
I researched your past 3 orders and discovered that (there never was) any notification or communication between you and our office either (by phone) or (e-mail); either to inform us that your last 2 ear plug orders were softer than before or that the ear plug broke apart. After shipping out many thousands of orders worldwide throughout the same period of time, we haven't received any other reports similar to yours. Plus, we all here in the office wear the same exact ear plug both daily and nightly.
It is so very difficult to have the ear plug brake off because it is held together very well with cotton fibers. One would have to exert extreme force by pinching the ear plug too forcefully when removing the ear plug to have it brake off.
John, your loyalty is appreciated and your satisfaction is (guaranteed) 100%. As an honorable company, our main concern if for our customer's success with our fine ear plug. Please feel free to contact our office. We would like to see and test the product that we sent you, plus for any reason, we would easily replace your order for free.
In the future, when removing the ear plug; simply pinch the ear plug between your index finger and thumb and gently pull down and outward.
Most sincerely

OK but get dirty very fast
I had to share a small cabana with my sister, a world-class snorer. The plugs helped for her standard issue snoring, but not her premium issue, which often follows an evening of red wine consumption. The plugs got mixed up with my hair (not ear hair, regular hair!) very easily and the hairs were impossible to extract from the plugs. Then I felt like the general dirt from my fingers was too involved from the massaging of of the plugs to make them fit. I still have two fresh ones that I will use when I have to share a room with my sister again.
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsMar 18, 2015
Dear Melissa:
The reason your ear plug is mixed up with your hair, is because you haven't (pushed and flattened) the ear plug firmly enough (IN and AGAINST) your ear canal, and it is protruding out too far . Once the ear plug is flattened against the ear opening, your hair cannot touch it.
Now if your ear canals are small and you feel that the ear plug is too large for your ear canal, you can easily remove a small amount of the plug material and insert a smaller ear plug that fits your ear better.
Melissa, I hope these tips have helped you get the most out of your Mighty Plug purchase. If you need any help, please feel free to call the office. We can easily walk you through inserting the ear plug. We all wear the same ear plug each night for the same reason. It works perfectly!
Melissa, try again, it's easy, you'll get it.
Please keep us informed. We are only too gladly to help!
Thank you and kindest regards,
