Dear Marnie: Whoa! They are the BEST Ear Plugs in the World! The "tag line" about them is correct! It's not an exaggeration! Marnie, they will give your partner the sound reduction he is looking for ( IF ) he prepares and inserts these ultra-high blocking ear plugs CORRECTLY! The ear plug we sent you is the HIGHEST BLOCKING EAR PLUG in Existence, but to experience the superior performance, one must follow (exactly), the preparation and insertion directions below. They are the same instructions that are on the card that came with your order. You will then see why almost all the testimonials on TrustPilot and on our website page are so positive. 1. Just as he is are about to insert, he must take take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between his fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn’t matter what shape it is; round, flat , long or narrow; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of the index finger, push the ear plug FIRMLY, & FLATTEN it, (IN and AGAINST) the ear opening (until one feels a GOOD SEAL). IMPORTANT: If it doesn’t seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will seal well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & SEALING the ear canals; now have him listen; he’ll hear very little or most likely no sound at all. It even gets better each time he wears them. 4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out. Dear Joanne: Why didn't they work well for you???????????? WE KNOW WHY!!!!! Joanne, the ear plug is TOOOOOOOOOO LARGE for your ear. Pinch off about 1/3rd and insert just 2/3rds of the ear plug. It will stay sealed and feel more comfortable!!. Joanne, all of us gals in the office have been wearing the exact same ear plug (nightly) for over 12 years, and in the beginning, a couple of us had a bit of difficulty with keeping the ear plug sealed, then (we figured out) that the ear plug was too big. We reduced the size and "Bingo", it worked great ever since!! When you get the right size, you'll get 30-40 wearings from each pair and they'll surely block out his snoring. That amount of usage is super value; especially if it does the job. Please write us again after you have inserted a smaller ear plug. You'll be most pleasantly surprised. Dear Elle: "Malleable", yes indeed; but not clay! Our superior ultra-high blocking ear plugs are made mainly from natural Beeswax. Elle, yes, they do a great job "at blocking out sound" and yes they are slightly tacky from Pure Lanolin; for an ear plug needs to be tacky to stay securely in the ear canal and Block Out, plus Lanolin is nurturing for human skin. Regarding your hair: Elle, just move your hair out of the way when removing the ear plug. All of us in the office have long hair and we wear this magnificent ear plug every night successfullly! We don't wear them in our office for we constantly need to hear each other. Regarding your wearing them in an office atmosphere: Elle, push them in less firmly and allow them to block out, yet still let you hear conversations in the office when needed. Elle, you might find our ear plug better used for blocking out sound like snoring, fireworks, thunder, barking dogs, loud music ect ect. Most sincerely Mary-customer service

Dear Thelma: You should be getting from 30-40 wearings from each pair. Our (ultra-high blocking) ear plug is the same as it has always been, but If you are getting less wearings, it means that your body is absorbing the pure Lanolin from the ear plug. Thelma, you can easily fix that by simply working into each ear plug just ONE drop of Pure Lanolin Oil. Lanolin Oil is very nourishing for the skin. That will refurbish the ear plug like new again. Dear Sherry: I can personally relate to that. When I started using our ear plugs ten years ago, I had the same experience trying to decide how big or how small to make the ear plug to fit in my ear. Most average size adult women pinch off about one third and insert just two thirds of the ear plug in each ear. Dear Darlene: That's an easy fix! When inserting the earplugs be sure to push and flatten the earplug a bit more firmly IN and AGAINST your ear opening (until you feel the earplug SEAL the ear canal)!
