Oh Dear Emma: This magnificent ear plug is COMPLETELY OPPOSITE of what you experienced!!! It is the most comfortable ear plug on the planet & the MOST EFFECT too !!! Emma, our ear plug is made from BEESWAX. Just prior to insertion, BEESWAX needs to be (worked or kneaded) between one's fingers or hands for 20 seconds to make it (SOFT & MOULDABLE) Secondly, our ear plug can be easily made to fit one's ear canal by simply (PINCHING OFF) some material to make it smaller so as to fit each person's ear canal PERFECTLY. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it soft, mouldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and mouldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat , long or narrow; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY & FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal ( UNTIL YOU FEEL A (( GOOD SEAL! )) If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will SEAL well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & SEALING the ear canals, you'll hear only SILENCE. 4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out. Dear Katrina: Katrina, I confirmed that you purchased one pair of our ear plugs. You are reporting that on the 3rd time wearing, you inserted the ear plug into your ear and could not remove all of the ear plug. Katrina, that is not easy to do, unless>>>>>>you pinched off so much material and inserted "too small" an ear plug or you pushed the ear plug in "so far" that it was difficult to remove, or while removing, you carelessly pinch off the ear plug so hard as to break it apart. Without any prior communication from you or us being able to confirm the authenticity of a doctor visit. I cannot know for sure; yet whether accurate or not, true or false, it's best to communicate with us on inserting and removing this magnificent ear plug. Katrina, all of us in the office have been using this same exact ear plug (every night) for up to 14 years, (without experiencing) any part being left in the ear, so I can only suggest that you phone us before wearing our ear plug again so that we can be sure to instruct you correctly. Dear Ducati Rider: I understand your experience !!!!! It's an easy fix !!!! Our ear plugs are TOO SMALL for your ear canals.. Simply pinch off some ear plug material from another ear plug in your pack and ADD or COMBINE that material to each ear plug; thereby making a larger ear plug and inserting a larger ear plug in each ear. Now insert the larger ear plugs and you'll notice how they SEAL and stay securely because the Lanolin in the ear plug makes it a bit tacky. There is no finer ear plug in the world for blocking out "wind noise". You'll see now !!! Ducati Rider, please keep me informed after you've increased the size. Most sincerely Mary-customer service

Iris, please (pinch off) some material & create the PERFECT size for ( your own ) ear canals; so that they are comfortable, filling the ear canal and really blocking it all out!!! With the correct size fitting you, this magnificfent (soft and mouldable) ear plug will feel so comfortable that (YOU WON'T EVEN KNOW ITS THERE)! You'll just have SILENCE!!!!!!!!!! Dear Laura: This is (( EASY )) to FIX!!>>>>>You didn't (( insert )) the ear plugs (( far enough )) into your ear canal!! When you tell us that your hair gets involved, then we know exactly what was happening. The ear plug was PROTRUDING OUT to far from your ear opening. Laura, Push and Flatten the softened ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear opening ( a bit more firmly ) UNTIL IT (( SEALS )) your ear canals. Now your hair can't touch it and you can listen to SILENCE!!!!!!
