Kaye S.
airplug not sound proof
Can hear all noises while wearing the earplug. Definitely no good for sleeping in the same room as a snorer. I can even hear a radio on low volume in next room. I feel the advertising is misleading
Response from Mighty Plugs: The World's Finest EarplugsDec 19, 2016
Dear Kaye: OH YES IT IS ( SOUNDPROOF ) !!!!!!! Kaye, in fact, they're PERFECT for sleeping with a snorrer !!!! BUT, >>>> you have to insert each ear plug and allow it to (SEAL) your ear canals !!!! Kaye, please follow these important instructions below and you will block everything out!!!! 1. Just before insertion, take (( ONE )) ear plug at a time and (work or knead) it between your fingers or hands for at LEAST 15-20 seconds to make this Beeswax ear plug, (soft and moldable). 2. Then push and flatten it, (a bit firmly), IN and AGAINST your ear opening, UNTIL YOU FEEL the ear plug (( SEAL )) (( SEAL )) yes (( SEAL )) your ear canal. IMPORTANT: If the ear plug doesn't SEAL immediately, then just keep your finger pressed against it for a few more seconds and it will warm and SEAL PERFECTLY. 3. Now take the other ear plug, and prepare it and insert it (exactly) the same way as the first ear plug. Kaye, with both ears SEALED, now LISTEN TO THE SILENCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your success is IMPORTANT to us so please keep me informed as to your results, after following the instructions above. I wear them too for the same reason. I know how well they work. I'm at 1-800-226-1884. We will work with you until you get this working PERFECTLY!! Most Sincerely , Mary - Customer Service
