Dear KC: They will block it (( ALL )) out !!! You are not inserting the ear plugs "properly" !! Please follow the below instructions (exactly) and you'll be pleasantly surprised !!! 1. The very first time that the ear plugs are prepared for insertion, you take ONE ear plug at a time and ( knead it or work it ) thoroughly through your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. 2. Now that it is moldable, use the tip of your index finger and (push and flatten) the ear plug somewhat ( firmly ), IN & AGAINST your ear canal, until you feel a good SEAL. If it doesn't SEAL immediately, just keep your finger pressed against the ear plug for a few more seconds, and it will SEAL the ear canal and block out magnificently. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way and insert it exactly the same way as the first ear plug. Dear David; We and more than 6 million people wear simply our earplug everyday with no similar issues. The ear plug is insoluble to water. Water cannot pass through the ear plug. When inserted correctly, our earplug seals the ear canal 100 percent, but if one inserts too small an ear plug for the size of their ear canal, then they run the risk of the ear plug not being able to SEAL sufficiently. Unless one pinches the ear plug very very hard, then it is very difficult to break to break it apart because the earplug is held together very well with strong cotton fibers. David, should you continue to use our earplug, please do not be too negligent and pinch it so hard as to break it off. Otherwise you can use silicone ear plugs for they will last one wearing before losing heir ability to seal. Kindest Regards, Mary-customer service

Oh Pam: They will SEAL ( Totally ), and block out ( Perfectly )!!! Please PUSH and FLATTEN the ear plug ( A BIT MORE FIRMLY ) and allow the ear plug to SEAL your ear canals. If it doesn't SEAL immediately, then simply keep your finger pressed against the ear plug for a few more seconds and it will SEAL PERFECTLY !!!! Dear Kathy: ON THE CONTRARY !!! Our all natural Beeswax ear plug is ((( much much much ))) BETTER at reducing or eliminating sound, BUT, You have to insert them to where they will SEAL your ear canals !!! The reason that the ear plug is losing it's SEAL is because you are not PUSHING and FLATtENING the ear plug FIRMLY enough to allow it to SEAL and STAY SEALED !!! Please follow the below instructions (exactly) and you'll be pleasantly shocked !!! 1. The very first time that the ear plugs are prepared for insertion, you take ONE ear plug at a time and (knead it or work it) thoroughly through your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. 2. BUT, they have to be PREPARED and INSERTED ((( CORRECTLY ))) Evie, yes the ear plug is made from Beeswax and is soft and moldable, but it is held together very well with strong cotton fibers, one would have to be very careless and pinch the ear plug with great force to break it apart. There is a video on our website earplugsonline.com and a webpage "To Insert & Remove" that is devoted to Inserting our ear plug. Secondly, you have an instruction card that tells one one how to insert and remove. It also came with your order. Dear Carol: Thank you for appreciating our customer service, but Carol, our ultra-high blocking ear plugs will WORK GREAT ( ONLY ) when they are inserted CORRECTLY and SEALING THE EARS!!! You will find the quiet you are looking for when properly prepared and correctly inserted, by following the instructions below: 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat, long or narrow; just follow the next step. If you are going to pinch off to make a smaller ear plug, then now is the time. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY & FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) If it doesn't SEAL immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will SEAL well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you’ll notice a big improvement. 4. Dear Judy,, They will form a PERFECT COMPLETE SEAL and easily block out the noisy dog claws on the ceiling!!!! Regarding the fragrance, it is Beeswax; and most find it very pleasant!!! Judy, please follow the insertion instruction below (exactly). You'll be very very happy you did. 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and SEALS it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and the Lanolin is disbursed throughout the ear plug, then they are ready to insert. It doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat, long or narrow; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY& FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will SEAL well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you’ll notice a HUGE improvement. 4.
