Dear Janet: You review can't be about our "Mighty Plugs" !!! What "friction"????? What choices ????? Nothing makes any sense to us regarding our ear plug. If you would have inserted our (soft and moldable) Beeswax earplug to where it SEALED your ear canal. You would have heard nothing but SILENCE !!!! All of us gals in the office wear them every night for the same reason. Janet, this ear plug works WONDERFULLY. Look at the package to see if you have our "Mighty Plugs". I wouldn't be surprised if you are wearing another brand. Most sincerely Mary-customer service and a 14 years very happy nightly wearer too. Next day: Further to your review: Janet, we had't received any other negative complaints from the other 3,000 or so customers that received ear plugs from the (same batch) as you, yet your experience is still important to us. I did retrieve a sample to compare and I could see where the ear plug could feel firm just out of the box.. It seems that the sample pack that you ordered was firm at the beginning and that the ear plugs were difficult for you to (soften or knead). This being the most likely possibility, that would explain your review. Janet, if you can reduce the size of the ear plug by at least 1/3rd.; and soften and insert a smaller ear plug. You should then find that they will be easier to soften and also easier to SEAL better. I believe that our ear plug is too large for your ear canal. Dear Bee Bee: ON THE CONTRARY!!!! THEY DO (( WORK )) wonderfullly BUT; being made from Beeswax, ( PRIOR to INSERTION ), they NEED to be (kneaded or worked) between one's fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make them (soft and moldable) !!!!! Once (soft and moldable), they are relatively easy to insert. Upon insertion, we then allow them to SEAL the ear canal. Bee Bee, please follow the instruction below and you will experience GREAT BLOCKING of SOUND !!! 1. Just before insertion, take (( ONE )) ear plug at a time, and (work or knead) it between your fingers or hands for at least ( 15-20 ) seconds to make our Beeswax ear plug, (soft and mouldable). NOW we recommend to adult women or a men with smaller ear canals; to easily pinch off about 1/3rd of the ear plug to make it smaller. We advise this to those who feel any discomfort at all. 2. Then push and flatten the softened ear plug, (a bit firmly), IN and AGAINST your ear opening, UNTIL YOU FEEL the ear plug (( SEAL )), yes (( SEAL )) your ear canal. IMPORTANT: If the ear plug doesn't SEAL immediately, then just keep your finger pressed against it for a few more seconds and it will warm and SEAL PERFECTLY; and be sure to push them in far enough so that the (( whole ear plug )) is in your canal. 3. Now take the other ear plug, and prepare it and insert it (exactly) the same way as the first ear plug. With both ears SEALED, (( NOW )) Bee Bee, LISTEN TO THE SILENCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bee Bee, please keep me informed as to your experience. Dear Jan: Of course. Definitely, we invite you to return them !!! You'll be entitled to a full refund. I honestly cannot explain your reaction of redness and itchy; for our ear plugs are (all natural), made from Pure filtered Beeswax, Sterile Cotton, and Pure Lanolin. We haven't had any other (similar reports) from any customers, but it surely does not diminish the importance of your experience. It appears that you have become allergic to something in the ear plugs or the ear plugs may somehow have become contaminated by something at your home. ?????????????? Dear Mary: ON THE CONTRARY: Our service was exceptional !!!!!!!! Your order came in on Jan. 5th and was shipped out on Jan. 5th. with (( tracking information )) attached. Upon contact, the postman that delivers mail to your address, as he is required, immediately upon inserting the parcel, recorded the exact time and date; plus he stated to us that he (( positively delivered )) our parcel into the mail receptacle at your address. We've sent you the exact time and date the parcel was put into your mail receptacle. Mary, we positively (( will not )) re-ship orders to customers who claim (non-receipt); when in fact we have proof of delivery to those addresses. If you want to send us an alternate address, we, in the interest of 'Goodwill' will re-ship to it by Fed-Ex with your signature required for delivery. Dear Veronica: THIS IS (( EASY )) to FIX !!!! I know why your review is what it is !!! Our ear plug (( too large )) for your ear canal. Veronica, PLEASE follow the instructions below and you will be pleasantly SURPRISED !!! 1. Just before insertion, take (( ONE )) ear plug at a time, and (work or knead) it between your fingers or hands for at least ( 15-20 ) seconds to make our Beeswax ear plug, (soft and mouldable). IMPORTANT:. It's obvious by your comment of "uncomfortable" that your ear canals are smaller. NOW that you've made it (( soft and mouldable )), you'll want to (( pinch off )) some ear plug material to make a slightly smaller ear plug. 2. Then push and flatten it, (a bit firmly), IN and AGAINST your ear opening, UNTIL YOU FEEL the ear plug (( SEAL )), yes (( SEAL )) your ear canal. IMPORTANT: If the ear plug doesn't SEAL immediately, then just keep your finger pressed against it for a few more seconds and it will warm and SEAL PERFECTLY; and be sure to push them in far enough so that the (( whole ear plug )) is in your canal. 3.
