Dear LDM: It will MORE than 'DO THE TRICK'' !!! In fact this magnificent ultra-high blocking ear plug will Block It ALL Out. Please follow the instructions below and you'll hear nothing but SILENCE!!! 1. The very first time that the ear plugs are prepared for insertion, you take ONE ear plug at a time and (knead it or work it) thoroughly through your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. 2. Now that it is moldable, use the tip of your index finger and (push and flatten) the ear plug somewhat (firmly), IN & AGAINST your ear canal, until you feel a good SEAL. If it doesn't SEAL immediately, just keep your finger pressed against the ear plug for a few more seconds, and it will SEAL the ear canal, not protrude out from the ear and it will block out the snoring superbly. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the (same way) and insert it (exactly the same way) as the first ear plug. Now, listen to the SILENCE!!! NO MORE SNORING !!!!!!! Dear John: The coloring in our "all natural" ( non-chemical) ear plug is from Food Grade Vegetable Coloring and the softness in the ear plug is from Pure Lanolin. To alleviate any residue, it is important (just prior to insertion) to (work or knead) our ear plugs for 15 seconds between your fingers or hands. That will disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plugs and you'll not have any residue at all. Try that, and afterwards I'll bet you'll rate us with 5 STARS. Cynthia, IMPORTANT!!!! you have to insert them CORRECTLY to where they SEAL your ear canals COMPLETELY. Please, please; follow the instructions below EXACTLY and they will block out (ALL) his snoring!!! Dear Nick: On the contrary !!! The ear plug we sent you is the HIGHEST BLOCKING ear plug in the WORLD; and its also the BEST VALUE of ALL ear plugs. One can get from 40-45 or more, wearings per pair. Nick, even cheap foam ear plugs have to be THROWN AWAY after just ONE wearing. If you had worked or kneaded the ear plugs through your fingers or hands just prior to insertion, you wouldn't have felt the 'tackiness' of the pure Lanolin. Regarding "hurting"???Nick, in 19 years, we have never before received from any of our customers, a report of "hurting", because the Beeswax ear plug becomes (soft and moldable). They are especially comfortable to wear all night long. Further to our correspondence: Dear Nick: No offense intended. Sincerely sorry if it came off that way. You see, all of us in the office wear this same exact ear plug every night and during the day when we go into the plant; so it must appear that we have a 'personal' view about this. Being an 'honorable' company that invites and prints ALL reviews, we do our best to help our customers have the experience that our fine ear plug will give them. Your application and the soundboard is a bit unfamiliar to me and I'm not sure why you have to insert and remove the ear plug so often. Possibly inexpensive foam ear plugs that expand and can be worn just once may be a better match for your particular application. Nick, the Lanolin tackiness that you feel makes the ear plug soft and moldable. Being that you obviously feel the tackiness, the ear plug only should be kneaded for just 15 SECONDS, not 5 or 20 MINUTES. Dear Drasko: ON THE CONTRARY !!! They're even MUCH BETTER than they used to be. THEY NOW: " BLOCK OUT " MORE SOUND THEY NOW: " LAST MUCH LONGER". Our customer reviews are sooooo POSITIVE and APPRECIATIVE !!! Drasko; Our company NEVER WENT THROUGH ANY " STRUCTURAL CHANGES !!! We've been the same for 20 years !!! You must be confusing us with another company !!! Our ultra-high blocking ear plugs are highly reusable and most customers experience getting 35 - 45 wearings from each pair. If you are getting less than 30 uses, it means that your body is a bit (deficient) in 'natural oils' and it is absorbing the Lanolin out of the ear plug. Lanolin is a natural skin moisturizer, as well as the ingredient that makes our ear plug soft ,moldable and slightly tacky. As the tackiness wears away, the ear plug seals less and less. Dear Scott: Our (all natural) (soft and moldable) Beeswax ear plugs will block out (MORE SOUND) than any other ear plug in the world, and if the ear pug is too large, just pinch some off and insert a smaller ear plug that fits your ear canal and SEALS it !!! Our ear plugs are (non allergenic) and completely compatible with skin. No one ever experiences any soreness with our Mighty Plugs; like you report, so we ae very very surprised at your comment. Scott, possibly, when you reduce the size, the soreness will not appear. Please keep us informed. We're with you all the way, until it is working perfectly for you.
