The ear plus work ok, but I can still hear my wife. I like how soft and comfortable the plugs are and i like that because i have a Large ear canals so i can use more to make the plugs larger.

IT A SIMPLE FIX !!!
Just push the softened ear plugs IN & AGAINST your ear opening until you feel them SEAL the ear canals.
Michael, once their sealed; you'll hear (( No More Barking )). As far as a women's high pitched voice, it's very difficult to generalize because the loudness and distance can very too much.

In 20 years and over 6 million customers, we hadn't ever received a " ear sweating" issue. I can guess that you might have a "fever', but only a guess.I honestly have no idea what had occurred for you: BUT I can reply to the issue of you "still hearing the traffic".
Debby, our ear plug is the HIGHEST BLOCKING ear plug made and it will (( EASILY )) block out the sound of traffic; when it is inserted CORRECTLY to where it is SEALING the ear canal.
If you want to really test their effectiveness at blocking out, then please follow the insertion instructions below and you'll hear nothing but SILENCE:
1. The very first time that the ear plugs are prepared for insertion, you take ONE ear plug at a time and (knead it or work it) thoroughly through your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug.
2. Now that it is (soft & moldable), use the tip of your index finger and (push and flatten) the ear plug somewhat (firmly), IN & AGAINST your ear canal, until you feel a good SEAL. If it doesn't SEAL immediately, just keep your finger pressed against the ear plug for a few more seconds, and it will SEAL the ear canal, not protrude out from the ear and it will block out superbly.
3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the (same way) and insert it (exactly the same way) as the first ear plug. Now, listen to the SILENCE!!!

Hoping they would do the job
I have a travel mate that snores very loud. After trying other products, I was convinced these earplugs were going to do the trick. Disappointed they didnt work like they said they would. Looking at other products at this time.

Ear Plugs
They don't stay in your ear while sleeping. At first, they remove a lot of noise, but after you lay your head on the pillow, they move easily become "insecure" and stop blocking much of the noise.

SEALING THE EAR??? IT'S AN EASY FIX !!!!
MH, just push and flatten the softened ear plug ( a bit more firmly) IN and AGAINST your ear opening (until you feel the ear plugs SEAL your ear canals.
If it doesn't SEAL immediately, then just keep your finger pressed against the plug for a few more seconds and it will seal well and STAY SECURELY there ALL NIGHT LONG !!!

Disappointed
I was very excited to try these ear plugs as I had tried everything else. The reviews showed people could not hear anything when using them. Unfortunately I could hear everything and I followed the instructions and ensured I had a seal. My husbands snoring is so bad we barely sleep in the same room. These did not live up to their promise. However I will say that the customer service is amazing!!

There's a good reason why 99.99999999% of all customers LOVE OUR EAR PLUG !!!!!!!!
Deanna, after first working them through your fingers for 15 seconds to make them soft and moldable; then with the tip if your index finger, push the soften ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear opening and into your ear canal UNTIL YOU FEEL THEM ((( SEAL ))) THE EAR CANAL.
Now listen to SILENCE !! If you still hear him ((but much quieter)), then just be patient for a day or two and you will notice less and less snoring to the point where you will hear NOTHING. On the first night wearing, we find that we are listening with hypersensitivity and also we aren't inserting the ear plug exactly right, and it can seem as though they aren't working as well.

Unfortunatly not what the company promises...misleading advertising & diappointing.
We bought these ear plugs for an anniversary holiday to help my wife sleep as I snore quite loudly. The ad I saw online had a video that said once in you would have "complete silence" , their exact phrase. Unfortunately once we got them they are not what is promised on their video. We both tried them many times & followed all instructions ...even looked up online for more comments & tips and we could still hear each other taking quietly when next to each other & even the radio 20 feet away that was on normal volume so we knew they would not work for my snoring. I contacted the company about this false claim on their video & told them that its not right to say "complete silence" if that is not the case...they should just say noise reducing ear plugs. ALso my wife has a small piece break off when taking the ear plugs out & that concerned us ....what if we are on holidays & a piece broke off that we could not get out...that would mean a trip to the hospital to get it taken out & a ruined holiday , not to mention the huge expense since we were traveling to the USA. The comapny was very good in sending us out brand new ear plugs that were recently made & therefore softer so that they would be easier to mold & suggested my wife reduce the amount she used to make the plugs smaller. We had already tried that but thought perhaps the new ones would be different & we would be able to get a better seal. We both tried them repeatedly again following all instructions & tips & continued to try them for many days up to the day of our trip....still could not get the "complete silence" the ad & video promise...very disappointing! Like I mention dont promise something that is inaccurate...just say they are one of the beat at noise reduction & dont hurt the ears as they are moldable & soft but dont promise " complete silence" ....or give better instructions because the ones we got , 1st & 2nd time were not working & even tips we found online where not helping to achieve the "complete silence" , not even close. Unfortuantly not work them sending back for money back guarantee as we'd have to pay the shipping...but I do ask the company to change their ad & what they promise so that its accurate & not misleading to customers.

When we hear that a customer like yourself can still hear with the ear plugs, then we know (for certain) that the customer did not insert the ear plug ( firmly ) enough into the ear to allow the ear plugs to SEAL the ear canal; or the source of the sound and the close distance is greater or more powerful than the ear plugs can block out.
Regarding breaking off the ear plug; it's almost impossible to do unless one was extremely careless and forceably pinched off the ear plug while it was in their ear.
Jim, please follow these instructions. After first kneading the ear plug to soften it, (push and flatten it) a (bit more firmly), IN and AGAINST your ear opening until you feel the ear plugs SEAL the ear canals.
PLEASE DON'T BE CARELESS. simply insert them correctly and allow them to do what they do best>> BLOCK OUT !!!!!!!!!Then listen to the silence.
Please insert them this way. We feel that you will be then appreciative their ability to block out sound and you might even rate us with 5 Stars.
