Dear Shoshana: This is an EASY FIX!!!! You have the HIGHEST BLOCKING Ear Plug in the world---BUT you have to know (( how to use it )) !!! Shoshana, you must insert them to where they (( SEAL )) your ear canals. Just follow the instructions below (exactly) and you'll be very pleasantly surprised at the sound elimination. THEY REALLY BLOCK OUT !!!!! 1. Just before insertion, take ( ONE ) ear plug at a time, and (work or knead) it between your fingers or hands for at least ( 15-20 ) seconds to make the ear plug, (soft and moldable); and to disburse the pure lanolin throughout the ear plug. 2. Then push and flatten the softened ear plug, (a bit firmly), IN and AGAINST the ear opening, UNTIL YOU FEEL the ear plug ( SEAL ) (SEAL) (SEAL) your ear canal. It needs to SEAL the ear to block out much. IMPORTANT: If the ear plug doesn't (( SEAL )) immediately, then just keep your finger pressed against it for a few more seconds and it will warm and SEAL PERFECTLY; and be sure to push them in far enough so that the (( whole ear plug )) is in your canal. 3. Oh Sandra! I'm not sure what you did to have the ear plug "crumble and brake apart"; but one thing for sure; our ear plug cannot respond like that without help. Dear Kira: !. "it's not working" because your not INSERTING the ear plug (( DEEP ENOUGH )) into your ear and it's PROTRUDING out too far and getting involved with your hair. 2.
