Dear Linda: FOR YOU !!! THEY DIDN'T WORK?????????????? There are 2 possible reasons WHY our ear plugs did not " work at all" for YOU. 1. IF you didn't use the "whole" ear plug and inserted too small an ear plug to block out sound; or IF you didn't insert the ear plug (deep or firm) enough to SEAL your ear canals, then those issues would prevent the ear plug from blocking out. 2. Secondly, if he slept so close to your ear and was so incredibly loud; or if your hearing is (exceptionally) acute, then those issues could also account for the ear plugs not blocking out enough sound. Either way; Linda, regardless how wonderfully the ear plugs work for ourselves and the almost 5 million customers worldwide, we "stand behind" our customers who placed their trust in us and ordered our ear plugs; (( Your )) satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. For me and the many others who wear our ear plug (for the same reason) as you; it works PERFECTLY and blocks it ALL out; so I suggest that you either try once again insert them (( more securely )). Dear Anonymous Unhappy: YOUR ARE (( PARTIALLY CORRECT )) ! TRUE, " it's not the same anymore ">>>>>>IT'S BETTER NOW !!!!!!! After 22 years, making the HIGHEST BLOCKING ear plug in the world, and shipping 100,s or orders each week, we've earned a large loyal following. We receive reports daily; and no one else in the past 6 months has reported any (( similar )) experiences with our ear plug; but it doesn't minimize the importance to us (( of your experience )). Dearest Deborah: I can FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY!!! You'll see; this magnificent ear plug is a "TOTAL BLESSING" I know! Our Beeswax ear plug is "different" from any other, but if you "simply" follow my instructions below, you will be very very Happily Surprised !!! 1. First take ONE ear plug at a time and (knead or work) it well through your fingers or hands for 15 seconds to make the ear plug (soft and mouldable). Then follow the directions in # 2: 2. Push and flatten the softened ear plug, (a bit firmly), IN and AGAINST your ear opening & into your ear canal UNTIL YOU FEEL the ear plug ( SEAL ) (SEAL) (SEAL) your ear canal. YES, It needs to SEAL the ear to block out much. IMPORTANT: If the ear plug doesn't (( SEAL )) immediately, then just keep your finger pressed against it for a few more seconds and it will warm and SEAL PERFECTLY. 3. Now take the other ear plug, and prepare it and insert it (exactly) the same way as the first ear plug. NOW Deborah, with both ears SEALED, ( NOW ) LISTEN TO (( SILENCE )) !!!!!! 4. Now to Remove it: simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb and index finger; pull down and out slowly. That's it! Done !! Deborah, we too, all wear this magnificent ear plug.. Dear B. Friend: 1. Yes, it's rare; but from time to time; and possibly one in every 250,000 customers seem to be a bit negligent when removing this Beeswax ear plug. It's not easy to tear apart this ear plug for it is well held together with strong cotton fibers. 2. Secondly, being made from Beeswax and surely different from "Foam", new customers often cannot figure out how to insert this magnificent ear plug to where it SEALS their ear canal and really blocks out much. Please follow the instructions below EXACTLY, and you'll change from "disappointed" to "ecstatic"!!!!!!! Susan, first take one ear plug at a time and (knead or work) it well. through your fingers or hands for 15 seconds to make the ear plug (soft and mouldable). Then follow the directions in # 1: 1. Dear Gary: That's an easy fix!!!!! This magnificent ear plug is made from BEESWAX. Just prior to insertion, one has to (( work or knead )) the ear plug through their fingers or hands for 15 seconds to make the Beeswax ear plug (( soft and moldable )); and to (( disburse )) the pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Once completed, the ear plug is slightly (( tacky )) and especially easy to (( SEAL )) the ear canal when inserted. Gary, try again; and this time (( knead )) the ear plugs beforehand.
