Dear Anonymous: First of all: every order that comes in to us before 3 pm, is always shipped out ON THE SAME DAY it arrives! Secondly: We ship our magnificent ultra-high blocking ear plug to over 74 countries and if your order was an International order and you chose FREE shipping, then the United States Postal Service first takes possession of our packages and flies the package to your country.Then it is transferred to your country's postal service. Yes, that can take from 10 to 21 days to arrive; depending on the competentcy of the postal service The unfortunate reality of it all; is that we do not have any control over the postal services in any country. Once we transfer the packages to the postal service , it is "out of our hands". It doesn't mean that we don't try to locate a package that is running late. We have contacted 100's of times, the postal services in over 55 countries, trying to chase down a package. Oh Yes! You are correct. Dear Debi: "First", we shipped out your order on the SAME DAY that it arrived to us!!!! Sometimes (International orders) can take 15 days to arrive using the postal service. "Secondly" they are surprisingly so easy to use that a 4 year old child can do it easily. Debi, we enclose with every order, an instruction card for preparing and inserting our ear plug. It is meant for those new customers who find inserting our soft and mouldable ear plug confusing; Please follow the instructions below and you will be pleasantly shocked at how much sound is being being out. 1. Just prior to insertion, we take ONE ear plug at a time and prepare it by (working or kneading) it between our fingers for 15 seconds to make it soft and mouldable. 2. We then push it a bit (firmly), & (Flatten) it IN and AGAINST the ear opening (UNTIL WE FEEL THE EAR PLUG SEAL). If it doesn't SEAL immediately, we simply keep our finger pressed against the ear plug with slight pressure for a few more seconds and it will SEAL. 3. Then take the other ear plug, prepare it sufficiently and insert it the same way. That's it. It's simple!!! Once inserted to where they are sealing the ears, you most likely will hear NOTHING! Dear Helen: They will work for you NOW! Our Beeswax ear plug is different from all others. First of all, just prior to insertion, our ear plug needs to be (kneaded or worked) between one's fingers for 15 seconds, to make it soft and mouldable. Helen, please follow the instructions below and you will be pleasantly shocked at how well the snoring will be blocked out. We take ONE ear plug at a time and prepare the ear plug just prior to insertion, by (working or kneading) it between our fingers for 15 seconds to make it soft and mouldable. We then push it a bit (firmly), & (Flatten) it IN and AGAINST the ear opening (UNTIL WE FEEL THE EAR PLUG SEAL). If it doesn't SEAL immediately, we simply keep our finger pressed against the ear plug with slight pressure for a few more seconds and it will SEAL. Dear Clay: I have a big information surprise for you that's in the sentences below!! It's obvious to all. Please excuse the following slang: The reason you tried our Beeswax ear plug is because everyone knows; FOAM DON'T WORK!!! Our Beeswax ear plug will block out much more sound than Foam can ever, but it has to SEAL the ear canal to really block out all the sound. Clay, air" doesn't need to pass through the ear canal when sleeping. Your not in an airplane ascending or descending in a pressurized cabin whereby you feel the pressure buildup. All of us in the office have been wearing our ear plug for many years for the same reason. THEY WORK WONDERFULLY! Clay, from what you are describing about the seal not staying; it tells me that our ear plug is TOO LARGE for your ear canal. It's an easy fix! Just after you have kneaded the ear plugs to make them soft and mouldable, just pinch off about 1/3rd and insert the remaining 2/3rds. You'll find that the ear plug will seal and really BLOCK OUT! Dear Rose: It's not pushing it in "far" that is important. It is Pushing and Flattening the ear plug IN and AGAINST the ear opening until you feel the ear plugs SEAL the ear canals. Rose , please follow the instruction below (exactly)! 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and SEALS it. When the ear plug is soft and mouldable and ready to insert, it doesn’t matter what shape it is; round, flat , long or narrow; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug a bit FIRMLY, & FLATTEN it, (IN and AGAINST) your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!!!). Note: If it doesn’t seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will SEAL well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & SEALING the ear canals; now listen; you’ll hear very little or most likely NO SNORING SOUND at all. It even gets better each time you wear them. Dear Harry: Your are feeling Pure Lanolin. Our ultra-high blocking ear plugs are made mainly from Beeswax. They are maleable, but (JUST PRIOR TO INSERTION) you must soften them between your fingers or hands for 15 seconds to make the ear plugs (soft and moldable); but more importantly, it disburses the pure Lanolin throughout the ear plugs. Our ear plug needs to be a bit tacky to stay securely in the ear canal and block out (all the sound). The reason our customers write so many great reviews about this ear plug is: IT WORKS !!! Dear Marilyn: Why rate our 5 Star earplugs with just 2 Stars if you are afraid to use them?????? I've been wearing them for fourteen years, every day, with great success. For most adult women, the earplug is too large for their ear canal, and we suggest that one pinches off about a third and inserts just two thirds of the earplug. The instruction with regards to removal wasn't meant as a "warning", it was meant as a helpful suggestion.
