Oh Bev! ON THE CONTRARY!!! They’re ( BETTER )) THAN GREAT, and they're TEN TIMES BETTER than "over the counter" imitation ear plugs! And here’s why: Bev, if you had inserted them CORRECTLY, you would have noticed they would have blocked out SO MUCH MORE SOUND than any ear plug that you have ever tried. Please follow these instructions below and you'll be singing us PRAISE!!!: 1. The very first time that the ear plugs are prepared for insertion, you take ONE ear plug at a time and (knead it or work it) thoroughly through your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. 2. Now that it is moldable, use the tip of your index finger and (push and flatten) the ear plug somewhat (firmly), IN & AGAINST your ear canal, until you feel a good SEAL. If it doesn't SEAL immediately, just keep your finger pressed against the ear plug for a few more seconds, and it will SEAL the ear canal, not protrude out from the ear and block out superbly. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the (same way and insert it exactly the same way) as the first ear plug. Beeswax is the finest natural sound suppression product that is completely compatible with human skin. In fact, you can wear each pair at least 35-45 times and more; making them the BEST VALUE of any ear plugs in the world !!! Oh Sally: YES, The MIGHTY PLUGS ear plugs are the BEST !!!, but the plastic cases may not be !!! THE TRUTH NEEDS TO BE TOLD !!! or was this simply your MISUNDERSTANDING ??? Sally, of course the cases are ( freely ) replaceable. If they are simply cracked without affecting the ear plugs, then we simply replace the cases , (without the customer having to prove) that they were cracked. If the plastic cases have broken to where they may have endangered the ear plugs, then we ask the customer to send everything back to us for a ( free replacement ). Dear Frank: Yes, we too agree that we make the BEST highest blocking ear plug in existence, but being (all natural), (non allergenic) and (soft and moldable), your waking up with sore ears do not seem to add up. In fact, we always receive the opposite reports of so much comfort, that customers often tell us they don't even realize they are wearing an ear plug. Frank, the only possibility that occurs to me is that the ear plug is still a bit too large for your ear canal. You may have to remove just a little more for comfort. Please keep me informed. Dear Annette: Do you want to hear NOTHING!! Then please, follow the instructions below for ( correctly) PREPARING and INSERTING these magnificent ultra-high blocking ear plugs. Allow them to SEAL and you'll be very very surprised !!!! 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and SEALS it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and the Lanolin is disbursed throughout the ear plug, then they are ready to insert. It doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat, long or narrow; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY& FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) If it doesn't SEAL immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will SEAL well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & SEALING the ear canals, you’ll notice a HUGE improvement. 4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out. Dear N. Moore: If you are feeling residue from the Lanolin, it is because you didn't (work or knead) the ear plugs through your fingers or hands,( sufficiently ) for 20 seconds, just prior to inserting them. Kneading them would have completely disbursed the Lanolin throughout the ear plugs better. N. Moore, we've sent you the BEST ultra-high blocking ear plug in the world. This is TOO GOOD an ear plug to not let it prove itself to you. You'll be pleasantly surprised how well it will do the job and the Lanolin is good for human skin. It literally nurtures the skin! Dear Still Sleepless: On the contrary; they're better than GOOD, they're GREAT! Here is how to block out (ALL) the snoring!!! 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat, long or narrow; just follow the next step. If you are going to pinch off to make a smaller ear plug, then now is the time. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY & FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) If it doesn't SEAL immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will SEAL well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you’ll notice a big improvement. 4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out. Sleepless, your satisfaction is our main goal!!!
