These are the best earplugs I've used in 12+ years of needing them. They block maybe 30% more sound than foam earplugs. Once you stick them in and mold them to your inner ear, they feel solid and will stay secured ~99% of the time. You can still hear some sound, but it is definitely muted. I do not hear my light-medium partner's snoring any more, though they were not strong enough to block out a friend of mine's mack-truck snoring. One down side is that you will leave some waxy-residue marks on your pillow, especially if it's a dark pillow case. Each one lasts about a month or so before they start shrinking and slightly losing plasticity to shape in your ear. Still usable, but a fresh one is better. Since I got these a year ago, I kept thinking, I need to write a review about these because they are life-changing... not to be too dramatic, but I finally feel like I found "the solution" to getting a good night's rest.
