Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug a bit FIRMLY; & FLATTEN it (IN and AGAINST) your ear canal (until you feel a (( GOOD SEAL )). IMPORTANT: If it doesn’t seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds, and it will (( SEAL )) well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. Dear Peter: I too am dissapointed in the Fed-Ex shipping cost! We are loicated idn Oregon USA and you are in Blackmansbay, Tasmania I see that you live in Tasmania, and being an island many miles south of mainland Australia, I know that Fed-Ex has to use a special plane of its own to fly parcels down to Tasmania from the mainland. Yet, in the interest of Goodwill, I will personally put forth a Goodwill refund on a portion of your shipping cost. Regarding the 32 pairs that you received, your message says that one of the boxes had a crack in it. It is possible and if the ear plugs were not damaged, then simply take them from the box and use them, yet if the ear plugs were damaged then kindly let us know. I will work on this today. Dear Ricky: You've got the HIGHEST BLOCKING EAR PLUGS (( IN THE WORLD ));>>>>BUT our ear plug must PLUG, must PLUG, and must PLUG your ear canal to block out sound. Ricky, if you don't insert our ear plug to where it (( totally SEALS )) your ear canal, then it will not block out much. Marta, we are 100% transparent and publish (( ALL )) reviews, but please read the following information. 1. Mighty plugs cannot crack!! They are malleable and stretchy, held together well like chewing gum. 2.Marta, BEFORE ORDERING: You are supposed to READ about our ear plug from the (website), the (video), and the instruction card that came with your order. You would have had great results if you did. Marta, PLEASE READ the remainder of this response to you and PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY. You will be grateful for my suggestions. 1. OH TRICIA!!! When you said the word "hair"; it told us exactly why you had the experience you did. Tricia, you didn't push the ear plug FIRM ENOUGH or FAR ENOUGH into your ear canal!!!; and the ear plugs ((PROTRUDED OUT TOO FAR)), didn't block out much and got involved with your "hair." Please, don't be afraid of this ear plug. Follow the below instructions exactly and with the results you'll block him out. 1. IMPORTANT:: Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it (soft, malleable) and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and (( SEALS IT)) (( SEALS IT)) (( SEALS IT))!!!!. When the ear plug is soft, malleable and ready to insert; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug a bit FIRMLY; & FLATTEN it (IN and AGAINST) your ear canal (until you feel a (( GOOD SEAL SEAL SEAL SEAL)). IMPORTANT: If it doesn’t SEAL immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds, and it will (( SEAL )) well. 3. Dear Janette: PLEASE (( PUSH )) our ear plug in DEEPER into your ear canal (UNTIL IT ((SEALS)) your ear. Then listen to SILENCE!!!! When you report to us that the ear plug got involved with your " hair ", it tells us immediately, that our ear plug protruded out tooooooo far from your ear opening. Often, a new customer is "afraid" to push the ear plug into their ear and they don't let the ear plug PLUG the ear canal. It's won't block out well until it PLUGS the ear canal. Janette, when you get this right with our ear plug, you'll throw away your old ones for good!!! Mary-customer service
