My father died
My father died. We contacted DWS to find out who were his beneficiaries. DWS would not release that info to his executers. We provided a certificate of cremation. According to DWS, that isn't a death certificate. I can only assume that they think he somehow survived the cremation. DWS will also not call the beneficiaries and inform them that they are in fact entitled to funds. They will not tell the executers of his estate who the beneficiaries are. DWS intends to keep that money indefinitely. If you expect you children to receive what they are entitled to, get your funds away from DWS.
