I decided to invest in mentoring Trent Jesse from a referral because as someone with various interests, I wanted to challenge myself to market and monetize one specific skill. I became frustrated as I was looking on YouTube for dropshipping guidance, as there were so many conflicting ideas and strategies. I am selective when it comes to sharing my ideas with business owners, but when I saw Trent’s picture, he looked like a genuine person that cared for his mentees and their success. My instincts were correct. Desperate to start a business, I initially planned to dropship stainless steel pots and pans. When I saw the "Dropship XL" title I was expecting something a lot more of just a flat dropshipping guide, but that is just the surface level really. Trent is way more than a “dropshipping coach”. He’s helped with every aspect of my life. It’s been so nice and important for my development to have weekly check-ins with him, to learn and grow, not only as a person, but as an entrepreneur. My personal biggest struggles have always been staying focused, meeting deadlines, and an overall lack of confidence. But if there was one thing in particular that I’ve struggled with my whole life, it’s been money. The second I get it, the next second I lose it.
