Over all great experience and learned a lot!

As a beginner exploring microservices with .NET, this course has been incredibly useful and well-structured. The content is practical, engaging, and easy to follow, making it ideal for someone new to this architecture. I feel much more confident in understanding and working with microservices now. Highly recommended for anyone starting their journey in microservices with .NET!

Instructor was very good. There was a lot of content to cover and overall he did a very good job of explaining why you are doing each step. You will defiantly learn a lot with this course and get a good understanding of Micro Services. My only nit picks are personal preferences and how we code. Course is a little out dated but I knew that going into the class. As I was going through each section I converted everything to .Net Core 6 with no startup.cs file, just using the new standard of program.cs only and upgraded to the latest packages to match. Would have preferred a way to have everything in a solution and used a full blown IDE like Visual Studio or Rider, but I do get why each micro services was its own repo, to handle the CI/CD process. I actually used Rider on my MacBook and created a solution and made each micro service a project with its own repo to keep it together and make it easier going between projects. I also would have preferred using Azure Dev Ops Repo instead of GitHub since there is no way my company would allow me to store our code in GitHub. It seemed strange using Azure to host the Kubernetes cluster, secrets, Docker Container Images and such but not use it's repo. Overall I am glad I took this course. One of my main confusions was all the pieces of IdentityServer and although the implementation here is small, the way it was done made it much easier to understand the pieces needed to use IdentityServer and how to modify it. I know the instructor is looking at making an updated course, when that is release I will definitely consider taking it as well.

Thank you for the very detailed review, Chris! Yes, re-recording the whole course with .NET 6 will take some time, but I have now included instructions to upgrade all the code, step by step, to that version, so hopefully that helps. Each repo is intentionally treated as an isolated piece, since that's the way you should think about them. You won't be coding multiple microservices in your day-to-day job usually. You get to own one or two, and rarely have to dive into others. I have the feeling Azure DevOps will eventually be replaced by GitHub, so I wanted to focus more on what I think will be the future of CI/CD pipelines. But yes, I think Azure DevOps is still being used in many organizations. Stay tuned for future updates!

Overall course is good. It covers each topic in depth. Highly recommended for a beginner in microservices. The only suggestion is to include more logging and messaging related (Kafka specifically) topics

El instructor ha sabido explicar en cada sección del curso como desarrollar una arquitectura de microservicios aplicando DevOps paso a paso. 100% recomendable.

I've taken other microservices courses (authors, platforms, etc) and this one is the best one so far(*). It's been more informative, comprehensive and complete as far as touching everything I wanted to learn, improve upon (development, security, deployment ...). I think of it as a "full stack" microservice course. (*) I gave it four stars and because I'm still taking the course. NOTE: I wanted to concentrate on other parts besides the front end. This course provides a basic React project which you can edit/test against. So my comments on full stack is everything except front end. IMO - that's perfectly fine. The "meat" of what I wanted to learn is not on the front end. One other note - hoping this will update to .Net 6 in the future.
