If I could leave -10 star I would
If I could leave -10 star I would. If you are wise avoid DVS. Anthony was obliging and friendly when trying to sell me a car but the minute something went wrong the tactics start. I bought a car from them end of May, it was delivered to my address June 1st. July 23rd engine light comes on. Turns out the coolant housing is leaking. I get in contact with DVS after getting this diagnosed on Sept 4th and they initially gave false info by saying the warranty is only 90 days. After showing them evidence in their own text messages, paperwork that the warranty is 6 months they agreed to fund a repair if I brought the car back to their nominated garage. Importantly I have evidence of this via texts and phone conversations. They gave me the garage details in Poole, and I booked it in with them for repair to be carried out on 28th Sept. This week said garage wanted confirmation from DVS that they'd cover the cost before ordering the part and rang them to confirm. At which point DVS pretended they could not remember such a conversation taking place. Therefore, the garage asked *me* to get DVS to confirm, which I tried to do this week (W/C Sept 21st 2026). At this point DVS started screening my calls, ignoring my emails and texts. I eventually got hold of them by calling from a different number. At which point they refused to talk to me, blocked my numbers and told me to email a complaint. Which I have done. I've sent an email giving them 14 days to abide by the consumer act of 2015. This is no way to run a business, but if you do a bit of digging you'll see it's their standard practice. My experience is far from unique. They sell folk faulty cars and when things go wrong, duck responsibility, block calls and ignore emails etc. There is a reason why they won't accept any payment that is not bank transfer and only sell cars by appointment and don't maintain a presence at their site 9-5. Anyone who wants to is free to contact me if you want to see the evidence of all I have stated.
