Thank you for providing your honest and candid feedback with DonorPerfect. This is very much appreciated.. While it is true that we host the payments page in most cases, this does not exempt you from PCI compliance requirements. As of March 31, 2024, the PCI Council has expanded its compliance mandates, significantly impacting merchants. One key update now requires merchants who redirect to third-party hosted payment pages to conduct vulnerability scans every three months— a requirement that was previously unnecessary. This change addresses the growing risk of outdated security measures on merchant websites, which have led to compromised cardholder data. We understand that these new requirements may add a burden, but compliance is mandated by the card brands and the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Council. To support our merchants, we do not charge for our PCI compliance program, which assists in achieving compliance. However, a non-compliance fee applies if a merchant chooses to remain non-compliant.
